How does Paul Groves from SBMT get picked? That is a joke, must've have been pulling some pretty decent moves on tommy brain at the tiger bar during the first half of the season. "round of lipslides and your in the team paul"
would have to agree with you there. ex afl player who's been in some very handy form. the selectors must have been blinded by xavs i guess.

I can't imagine the boys from Maffra and co shaking in their boots at the prospect of this duo.
David Paton, Travis Ruyg and Nick Stone all should be in. Collegians pretty under-represented all round methinks.

Well word has it that one of the selectors was down at the Trott on saturday for Collegians vs Scotch, and would have seen Stone dominate across half-back with at least 15 marks to go with a few goals.
Gave them something to think about that's for sure.

Then i am sure Stumpy can speak for himself, as i look back over the post i gather that he doesn't beleive Groves is good enough, and doesn't deserve the invite, facts show that he was 'good enough' to make it last year, which therefore warranted an invite this time around. If stumpy thinks he was soft, then he should have said that, however he didn't. Speak only what you think, and not for others please.

No idea who Mr Groves is, but whether or not he's in the side matters little. Given decent conditions at the Eastern Oval (ok, that's unlikely) the VCFL boys by plenty.

can someone please advise me if brett sinclair is in the team or even the squad for the rep team. seen him play a couple of games and nothing special about him thats for sure!!

you are correct in saying he played last year, he must've mastered his lipslide technique last year, had a solid preseason, then had a good season so far!
F 07, The guy can play, won the B section goalkicking last year with 68, this year he is leading again with 43 playing in a side that has won only 2 games, so he's going all right

Senior team said he could play 23's, 23 side picked tomorrow nite and u would expect him 2 play. Played both games last year, had a great season thus far (would be close to, if not, leading OE b&f at this point) so 23's coaching staff would be stupid not to take him whether they had planned to have him or not. Got to pick the best players available, and he is certainly in that category...

Rob Baddeley, 21yr old from old essendon. Made it till the last cut of the senior side, now going to Adelaide with 23 team...
Lots of Hoers, but it's weird to only see one Collegian. I haven't been following A section this year, but Solly's selection must be on the back of a great 2007.
Cults and Beardo are very much deserved representatives. Both great players for OTs for many years and ripping blokes too. Cultrera has, for 6 years straight, played in the A - D4 side, he will be stoked to make the full Rep team.
Good luck to all those selected, with wet weather predicted here's hoping you can grind them into the Ballarat mud.

Good to see the powers that be listen to the voice of the public on BF. Cold wet weather equals Old Ivanhoe, big bodies.
Not the best side we have had because of the Sholly folly, but hope they do well.
All Collegians players selected in the squad where either injured or unavailable except for Dixon. (Arnott, B.Robbins, N.Stone)
