A positive from the weekend

Sorry if there has been a thread on this kids performance on the weekend but gee Marc Murphy continues to impress.

Workhorse, he runs like there is no tommorow and is constantly making leads and getting into space for his teamates.

He played a cracker of a game on the weekend having 30+ touches kicked 2 goals and had a few score assists. Easily our best player IMO and showed the rest of his teamates how to do it. From what i have seen this kid in a couple of years time will be considered one of the elite players in the AFL.

Has so far averaged 23 touches and a goal a game this year and is only 20 years old. To those that so his kicking lacks penetration just look at the way he delivers the ball lace out to fev on a regular basis.

My god i couldnt agree more. Had been our most consistent player this year. I just cant believe how much he has improved. Loved his 1st year was having 2nd thought last year and now just can hardly believe it. The amount of inside 50's and score assists are brilliant. Go murph

Our best player on Sat night and will be a 200 - 250 game champ for our great club. He is enjoying that extra freedom now that Judd and Stevo are playing in the same side.

Needs to do the same this weekend I think, I am not as confident going into Freo match as I hope.
