Spitta is an absolute gun. The guy surely now must get the recognition he deserves. He gives 200% to every contest and IMO has taken over the no1 midfield role from Boomer. Every aspect of his game has improved from the last couple of years and if he keeps improving the sky is the limit for him really and you couldn't meet a nicer bloke club will be in good hands when he becomes captain.

He was a steal at pick #44 or whatever it was.

Swallows first quarter reminds me of Hayes first quarter against Adelaide a few years back (he ended up doing his hammy just before QT).

His stats at QT were something like 16 touches, 5 tackles, 5 clearances and a goal almost identical to Swallows today.

Always liked him, had a huge break out season last year, at the moment he looks like he might even top that this year.

Gee quick to jump up and down after one stand out performance .... got to string a few together on a consistent basis before we compare these young blokes to the next superstar of the comp. He has had some ordinary games this year also. Consistency is the key and doing it against quality opposition is even more important.
