I think you're right, however I'm not sure we'll do itPretty sure a rookie upgrade still counts towards the three

I don’t believe you but Brodie and I are still hanging onHave you finally arrived at the point that Brodie isn't a midfielder yet?
Asking for a friend?![]()
A lot of half backs do
That small fwd has to have elite agility, sidestep, and acceleration .....those fwd pockets are the size of a phoneboothWe need a small forward who can apply pressure and hit the scoreboard
In theory Milera is perfect though he hasn't shown much at AFL level when he's played there.
Even him performing averagely though is a major upgrade on Murphy and Rowe

Milera to a teeThat small fwd has to have elite agility, sidestep, and acceleration .....those fwd pockets are the size of a phonebooth
PS ...you may need to explain to some posters what a phonebooth is
Milera has always struggled in that role ......he likes space to run, carry, and sidestep ...midfield or HBFMilera to a tee
Did it as a junior, but you wouldn't have seen much of that.Milera has always struggled in that role ......he likes space to run, carry, and sidestep ...midfield or HBF
But don't box him in for space, it takes away his weapons
Played HFF in his Draft Year, roaming up to the wing ......you wouldn't have seen him too deep too oftenDid it as a junior, but you wouldn't have seen much of that.
Except I did.Played HFF in his Draft Year, roaming up to the wing ......you wouldn't have seen him too deep too often
Kids... a phonebooth is like your backyard but with a telephone in itPS ...you may need to explain to some posters what a phonebooth is
Yes he's good in tight, hence why IMO he needs to play midfield .....but all those clips of him sidestepping & weaving, have been in the midfield space, not a FPExcept I did.
And even with us, his work in traffic is very very good.
10 kick ins in those 22 disposals of O'Loughlin's, I think the judges must have looked at the stats sheet not watched the game, O'Loughlin played OK but not best on.Do we go the 2 Academy players
"Blayne O'Loughlin, the nephew of Sydney great Michael, was South Australia's leading ball-winner with 22 disposals and was named his side's best while fellow Adelaide Next Generation Academy talent Isaiah Dudley booted three goals."
Or upgrade a rookie.Have to take 3 picks in the draft
So assuming Davis and O’Connor are gone.
Is this right? No
31 senior list
5 cat a rookie list
2 cat b rookie list
In Dawson giving us 32 senior
Upgrade Butts and Keays
34 senior
3 cat A
2 cat b
Gives us 2 picks in draft and one in rookie draft.
The key question
It's a long time out and he hadn't even banked consistent performances before being injured
No current season stats available
Can you see Adelaide doing the same in that position? Most important lesson from the grand final today is when you draft good players, you absolutely MUST back them in at AFL level
Even if it means turfing senior players to the reserves. If your recruiting team says a player is good, uses a good pick on them, that must take precedent over experience and tenure
Jackson
Bowey
Pickett
Rivers
Sparrow
No messing around giving Pickett year after year in the twos to teach him how to defend, or telling Jackson to kick bags before a call up. Nope. They're just in the side. Bowey gets the call up in round 20 after being on the list for one year? No problem, you're playing all the finals son
Melbourne took 11 players in the 1st and 2nd rounds of the draft since 2017. 9 of them played in the grand final, with only two guys from the latest draft missing. That's every single first and second round pick from three consecutive drafts playing in the team.
It didn't ******* matter that they had Nathan Jones, Neville Jetta, Jayden Hunt or Jake Melksham on their list. Or Mitch Brown, or Majak Daw, or Aaron Vandenberg or several other long career battlers.
Their recruiters said they picked talented players. They played those players as a priority. Now they have a flag

Not sure which clubs have used player agents as list managers but the 2 I know of were in bottom 4 this year.I’m interested in the tenure of a list manager? You do not see too many of these positions being cast out.
Most people would identify my dissatisfaction with the current and his ties to previously.
it needs to be cut, immediately.
Craig Vozzo was a list manager at West Coast, was a player manager. Not sure which clubs have used player agents as list managers but the 2 I know of were in bottom 4 this year.
