Its always hard as a defender coming in. Not a horror quarter. Just got beaten a couple of times. Even good defenders get beaten at times.

Disappointing the amount of space given to Brisbane opposition, handed them the easiest close to goal goals, so many uncontested marks, no changeovers in defence when defenders pushed up and leaving so much space for Brisbane players around stoppages.

We’re lacking a genuine small defender to clean up ground balls in defence. I know Michalanney can mark Cameron but he’s a better natural fit for Ah Chee. Push Curtin up to a wing and have Jones roll back to defence .
