Yeah. Most disappointing were the missed snap from Laird and the set shots from McSpud and Keays. A professional player would have got the Laird snap. McSpud deserves great praise for the mark, but odium for the rushed shot.
Keays, despite managing to avoid playing on, seemed to rush his shot with no need: I don't think he thought he would get it, but he should have taken deep breaths and slowed right down.

Spot on. Nicks makes too many rookie coach errors so will never win us a flag, no matter how much the squad develops to the point it will be too good not make finals.

First half takeaways:

McHenry is the worst player in the entire AFL. There is no justification for his selection. He is terrible at literally everything. Name an attribute other than “tries hard” or “has stamina”. He doesn’t possess it.

Smith is cooked. Why are we in denial when it’s staring us in the face?

Tex has been obliterated by Payne and looks unable to do anything about it.

ROB is extraordinarily frustrating. Does he get less coordinated every day?

Curtin has had a shocker. Putting him in the wrong role is a major factor. But a shocker nonetheless.

Keane has had a shocker. Was due.

Michalanney also looks off his tucker.

Sholl has been excellent. Arguably our best player so far. And I normally can’t stand him.

Himmelberg was good in the first qtr and absolutely horrible in the second.

Laird makes the wrong decision almost every time he gets the ball.

Fog looked really dangerous and then I didn’t see him for literally 20 mins. Story of his career.

Rankine looks very dangerous and is basically the reason we somehow lead despite playing like s**t.

Rachele kicked a really nice goal but I haven’t loved the rest.

Crouch is the best handballer in the comp. The rest of our team are shithouse at it.

Soligo having an “almost” game. Been good, but can lift.

Dawson has been solid as a rock.

Chayce = terrible. Playing him on a wing is dumb. Send him to Smith’s spot and bring Nank back in next week for crying out loud.

We need to get Cook the ball more as his ball use is exquisite. Maybe that’s on him to get to dangerous positions more though. It’s hard to tell.

Butts - horrible. Just no football IQ there whatsoever. Will be a SANFL player once Murray returns.

Nank as sub was a terrible choice.
