The stage is set - big Saturday night crowd, big tv viewing audience. We're playing one of the form teams of the comp - this is a real chance to make a statement.

For us it's a finals spot on the line

For some reason when I saw this thread this song popped into my head


At first glance it is a great pump up song, could work well as a team intro song.

However given the lyrics, not sure this is a good thing for us.

Really want and we need us to buck this stupid on/off trend. Will be pissed off if we lose to Richmond. Not just because we need the win with a tough game next weekend, but because it will be three losses to teams outside the 8 on our home deck.

Despite my efforts on Bay 13 in previous times, Richmond are the club I despise the most. Got lucky being in the VFL once it went national and Fitxroy (premerger) have still played more AFL Finals than they have since 1990. Rubbish club that does not deserve to be in the top echelon of clubs in our sport.
