Adopt-a-Demon is back again folks!​

This is where you get to write a Demon player's 2012 season into the BigFooty history books.​

​

2011 was a season to forget for many reasons. After a massive revamp at the club, new captains, new leadership group, a fitter squad and a new sense of expectation, 2012 could be a season to remember as we turn the page.​

​

We're looking for volunteers to nominate their players and put their hand up for the following in 2012:​

For your nominated player/s:​

​

A season preview. This doesn't have to be anything extensive just a short intro based on how they have prepared and your expectations for the year. Simply post your season preview in your player's thread in 'The Change Rooms' sub-board. We encourage posters to have their season previews up before round 1 if possible but there is no cut-off.​

​

Weekly player game reviews. As with previous years simply post the weekly game review of your nominated player/s in their respective threads in 'The Change Rooms'. Variation is the key here so as long as some of the vital numbers are there please be as creative as you want in your game reviews.​

​

Naturally many players will be in and out of the side throughout the season and hence be playing for Casey. Any information you can post on a player's Casey games would be great whether you saw them play or just got a few details off the Casey website - nothing too extensive here. If a player is or becomes injured then the odd update here or there regarding their recovery or any other news would be great - again nothing too extensive.​

End of season player review to be part of the BF annual.​

​

Your weekly efforts during the season could be very handy when it is time to post your player/s season review as you'll have a lot of the info you need already.​

​

An EOY season review thread will be created as with 2011 for you to make your post - but more on that down the track.​

​

We hope to receive as many Demon adoptions (nominations) as possible by the end of round 3 of the NAB cup (Mar 11) giving everyone a couple of weeks to post their previews but the thread will remain open though whilst players are still available.​

​

A BFSC membership is up for graps to the best reviewer (including EOY review) as well.​

​

Ok, to keep this simple guys I am going to update the list as nominations come in.

If a subsequent nomination comes in by a poster who did the 2011 review (for the player you have chosen) I'll update the list to give that poster priority in which case you'll need to select an alternative player/s.

Not everyone I suspect will emphatically want the same players as last year so we'll see how we go.

Not so much last year but the 2011 season player review I've been running that Chief is putting into Downloadable from for every team.

If you wrote a review for the inaugural annual player review then you have first option to take the player for the 2012 season.
