Brother of Rompin' already has in name on that seat.
Unless, of course, the AFL executive is going to go all Game of Thrones on us.
That could be a whole other thread about which AFL top dogs could be game of thrones characters.

HAHAHAHAHAHA........... Typical Essendon arrogance. To respond to your stuid comment, would North not benefit from having someone in a paid position that had designed the system? He is not a top bloke, but could still be of great benefit to the club.
Anyways.......... Essendon suck.

I think it would be of great benefit.
I'll just find it highly amusing watching the North.... errrr..... brotherhood pulling foot from mouth in relation to Anderson.
And just because I chuckled, when you accuse someone of stupidity, at least spell it right. Yes I know, a typo, but the irony was worth a laugh.
Been laughing about this until I saw this
Former Richmond ruckman and Tigers chief executive Brendon Gale, who has a law background and who previously headed the AFL Players' Association, has emerged as a key contender for the job.
Way too early into our rebuild to lose him already. If we lose him I'll be gutted - we only recently had a poll on this (who is most important to RFC), and Gale was mentioned by most. Will be a massive loss to the Tigers![]()
I actually think rule changes such as abolishing bounce downs from stoppages will speed up the game rather than kill it off.
That would be bad for the Tiges, but it would be good for footy.
Seriously, Christmas has come a couple of weeks early for footy supporters everywhere. What wonderful news. AA is an absolute twirp.

Will suddenly become the game's greatest administrator and all-round good bloke should he take the North CEO role.
Fine. If you like slow games, go watch NFL then. When did 'speeding the game up' become a desirable aim?
Especially when they achieve it, then bring in rules to slow it back down.
thank christ, dont let the door hit you on the way out
now we only need jason nisfud and vlad to leave
agree, but damn it would hurt us. yes we have come a long way out of the pit, but we are still clawing out way out - new person/new plan will put that recovery at risk IMO (and I don't have that many rebuilds left in me!!)
Meh, I like AFL; if you want to go watch a faster game, go watch Ice Hockey or something.
******* Mifsud.
Small things amuse small minds......................... and i think we can all agree that Essendon supporters have small minds.
With big arse trophy cabinets.
Such poor things we are.![]()
Lawn Bowl trophies?
I'm pretty sure there are a few of those at Windy Hill.
Robert went bankrupt and was knifed by his underlings. The opposite of Vlad.Vlad - Robert Baratheon
Anderson - Ned Stark
Gillon - Joffrey
