That was deliberate. Since I've always thought he was a bit of a skirt I thought I'd spell his name that way. Tecnically if the girls way of spelling it is Adrienne then I may look like an idiot.
These days you can spell any name any way. I taught at a primary school for a while where there was a kid named "Jayysonn". Bloody stupid if you ask me. In a lot of European countries they have laws about stupid names - you can't make up stupid names for your kids. If it's unusual you have to apply to have it accepted as a legal name. They protect their culture by doing it.

Sometimes I forget the BigFooty rule about hating everybody who works for the AFL and blaming them for your club's woes.

I'm heartbroken.

Can never see this being adopted in the US.

Barkevious, Jadeveon, Motravious, D'Brickashaw, Torrodney. Tre'Davious, Laquvionte.

Just a few examples.

did anyone hear his comments on 3aw about the loop hole in the drug testing that they need to close, that has allowed a group of players from one club to avoid gaining a strike under the drugs policy?

It all makes sense now. Eddie got rid of him!

Chances are you'll all dislike whoever replaces him too. It's not the person, it's the position that you're giving the heat to really.

You people do realise that you will hate his replacement just as much dont you. It isnt the person in the role, its the role (or it was, they seem to be changing it).

Its a bit like Federal cabinet telling the finance minister to raise more money by raising taxes, then when the finance minister goes, everyone cheers and says, it will get better now that arseh*le is gone.

There's no way people retire from cushy gigs like the AFL, he was pushed. He must have mistakenly been investigating one of Demetriou's favourite clubs, so he had to go.

The article seemed to suggest that AA was going to be overlooked and furthermore have his current role diluted. Clearly they noticed the Peter Principle in full effect.

Happy Gale has ruled himself out :)

Curious he tried the make the Tippett trial public and it was overturned
Got the feeling that the working relationship with Vlad was strained to say the least. AA was coming under more pressure for decision than Vlad, partially because Vlad was undermining him to strengthen his position and deflect blame. Be interested to see who takes it on because they need to resturcutre the role a split some of the responsiblities better.

one of his last tasks is the Dees investigation, be very interesting what happens with that now.

Best remembered by me when he put out his hand to commiserate Leigh Matthews after the 2004 Gf defeat.
Matthews put his hand out then realised it was Anderson so he ripped his hand back and waved him away.

have a feeling that this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Demetriou has but himself in a corner by repeatedly stating that tanking doesn't happen and never happened, if Anderson believes that there is enough evidence to go Melbourne and wanted to penalise them it would be embarassing to AD.

Couldn't agree more. All people achieve when spelling their child's name 'creatively' (eg Jaxxon, Trevah, Breeana, Jaysun, etc) is
a) condemn their child to having to spell out their name every single time they make a booking with an airline or hotel etc, or ring the bank, deal with health insurance etc etc etc
b) remove any sliver of doubt that they are uneducated bogans

I'm all for Australia adopting that policy. Unfortunately the pro-right liberalists would be up in arms claiming it prevents individuality.

There's also Savannah, Khloe, Porsche, etc. WTF, when I see these names I think their parents simply watched too much pr0n in the 90's.
