Hey guys!

I didn't know where to ask about advice on Adelaide, thought I'd get better responses here, instead of hearing "Oh Adelaide's boring" and the usual!

Anyways I'm coming over for the round 5 game(Adelaide v Fremantle) from Melb. And just wanted suggestions on things to do, I've been there a few times for the footy. I liked Glenelg(Will be goin there again of course). Just thought I'd try'n get some suggestions. I'll be driving so will be able to get around.

Oh and I'm 20. So maybe any good clubs and stuff to go to even tho I'm not really into it haha!

Thanks :D

If your single and love to be where the laides are at the mars bar is easily the best place to go.

As for the rest of adelaide - tours of Adelaide oval are always good.

the rets of SA is the touristy stuff, the city is best for clubs and sport.

Not sure what you want to do or see

Glenelg is a good place to go, shopping wise you can check out Westfield Marion (SA's junior equivallent to Chadstone) or Harbor Town which is like the DFO, but outdoors. Go on the o-bahn if you havent been on it before.

Clubs ummm bit out of the loop, but I would say HQ (used to be called Heaven) and Earth (which is on Hindley Street).

:D You're evil

Thanks for the advice, will be sure to jot them down, and yep the Barossa doesn't seem to far out and was hoping to explore the Adelaide Hills as well. And just researched the mars bar, very funny =P

and was there any special landmark buildings to check out? I don't mind a bit of history!

Alot out of the loop :D:p

If you want good nightspots, it depends on the type of crowd your into.
A saturday night id stick with HQ or the Dog and Duck (on hindley street).
If pubs is your thing, try the Austral or the Elephant (both on the east end of town)

By far the best club in adelaide is Electric Circus (on a Friday night especially). Its an acquired taste but if you were to compare it to something in your neck of the woods id say its very similar to the Prince bandroom. Same music, same type of crowd. :thumbsu:

Hope i can be of some assistance

in all seriousness, ive heard very good things about swish (just off nth terrace).

PJ obriens is good, and The ramsgate or Sandbar are good if you dont want to head into town.

But i do recommend a tour of Adelaide oval, and victor can be nice providing its not too cold.
