Congrats to GeeCats07 completely due. Took a stab on picking the underdog (as per Sportingbet) and nailed it.

I'd rather get beaten by a point scoring 100+ than by scoring 60. Akin to me losing a golfing bet after playing 4 strokes better than my handicap. Couldn't believe it happened but can't complain about the quality of effort!

Took the gamble on game day. What it's all about!

On the next duel standings end of week 11 you're showing as 5-3-2 and Osmodiar showing as 6-4-1. You both won this week so that's you 6-3-2 and him 7-4-1

It can't be 5-3-2 because that only adds up to 10 games, not 11...has to be 6-3-2 ??

I think I can see the problem. I think I should be 5-4-2, not "5-3-2" as per the week 11 standings or "6-3-2" as per the week 12 scenarios. A win this week still only gets me to 6 wins and 2 ties, which isnt enough.

So it was just Woodson getting my hopes up (in error) in the ND standings scenarios post.

Depends what the missing game is, a win or loss, from a previous week Woodson forgot to count. If you're really 7-3-2 then that's the same percentage as 8-4 which is better than 7-4-1.

Ties are always counted as a half win and a half loss when calculating the percentage. So a 7-3-2 becomes 8-4

Correct… I just went over results, looked at your conference record.. 5-3-1 as listed, correct and then Inter-Conf record 0-1-1 adds up to 5-4-2 so it's clearly a 'typo' oversight a missing 'loss' not included in the listed 5-3-2 after week 11.

Just for peace of mind, I can list your results which are also listed in the ND schedule chart.

Since he is eliminated, doesn't allow you to leapfrog him UNLESS you claimed a WIN over one of your adversaries who was challenging with the same record which nullifies the h2h criteria. Both of yinz have identical .583 winning percentage ratio but Osmodiar has it better at .625 (7-4-1). Osmodiar squeezed out bgt2110 on superior Division record after their Week 7 clash was a TIE. Both bgt2110 & Osmodiar have been briefed on what how it clutch that TIE worked in favour of Osmodiar on this occasion.

My quote was only on the evidence that I had 7 wins and 2 ties, he had 7 wins and 1 tie, and I was placed behind. That concern was void once I counted the extra loss.

Yep.

1 bad week and you can drop right down or on the other end of the scale you can rise very quickly if you tip against the norm and roll the dice putting an underdog very high in CR and hope they get up.

NFL is so hit and miss every season and never is there a good thing in this comp. You have to be very lucky as 1 play so often screws you in a swing game and kickers over the years missing FG's for game wins have screwed so many people!!!
