Looks like I survive another week in DZE, but EagleOz has the better of me in LCS...

Man, Falcons actually looked good what the hell is going on.
Our failures were due to an injury depleted OL.
OL has been stable recently ;)

Having both benefited and suffered from this during recent seasons, what are peoples thoughts on being able to change tips (primarily SNF and MNF) right up to game time?

In ND (and also HRS, DZE, etc) it gives the team trailing (in many cases) an advantage they otherwise wouldn't have - is everyone comfortable with that? Should those that have tipped better than their opponent that week to that point have their win put at risk but allowing its opponent to play the odds and change its tip? (I'm not ignoring that the leader can also change their tip too)

I'm not arguing either way at this point, I just don't recall seeing a discussion around it.

You can change tips up until game time.

He's aware of that, but he's proposing an argument on whether it is fair. Saying those trailing despite tipping worse have a chance to win essentially.

I think it adds to the intrigue, happy the way it is. Sometimes it will come off for you, other times it won't. Keeps ND games alive right to the very end which i like. Has never been good to me though

In most cases i would rather the CR points as opposed to risking it on a ND win.

Um....yeah, I know. I've been around a while, despite not posting much....

I'm asking whether there needs to be a discussion going forward about whether that is fair and equitable to all, or whether alternatively there is a fixed cutoff point for all games in a week where all entrants (in any timezone or with any access to news) have the same amount of information to base their tips from. A late "OUT" for a key player in the 2nd wave of Sunday games happens at or around 4am Perth time and 7am Mel/Syd time - clearly one is in a better position than the other to consider that news.

Using a basic example, two entrants tip the same with varying CRs and at the end of all but SNF/MNF, A is on 100 and B is on 98. Both entrants have tipped the same way with similar CR's for the last 2 games.

If tips are locked, A, having tipped better, wins in 100% of circumstances.

If tips can be changed, then B suddenly has a chance to change their tips, resulting in (say) tipping a 45%/55% underdog and therefore it turns A's chances from 100% to far less than that.

I'm just promoting the discussion about whether people are happy with that scenario. I don't have a preference at the moment, as I said I have both benefited and been punished by this opportunity.

(The only factor that influences me directly is that I watch RedZone as quickly as I can on a Monday morning, and some weeks due to the timezone difference I don't have enough time to go and look at changing my tip for SNF in time)

Funny that you mention this 'THIS WEEK'… WHY?

Early Monday morning.. about 2.30am AEDST I couldn't help but read up on some of this weeks contests and you can guarantee that you think entirely differently for some games from the Thursday night previous >> yada yada yada >> cut to chase..

Using your mobile phone is FLAWED with danger, not in the way that you can easily make changes but the deft sensitivity of 'selections made' as I definately picked the BUFFALO BILLS 16CR this week but due to flicking the screen upward to get to the bottom and SAVE tips.. JD informs me that the Bills game log was changed to CLEVELAND along with several other ones I changed.. initially had Colts. That's a LESSON LEARNED right there.

Avoid late changes

3XKO UPDATE WEEK 13

The number 13 was definitely unlucky for @Matty_897 who no doubt felt exactly like giants loss.jpg this giants fan did after being eliminated thanks to his giants to beat jags pick.

We are now down to terrible-twins.jpg Tannehill17 and SodaPop to fight it out for 3XKO 2014 champion.
