Is that how the confidence rankings work? I did mine the wrong way around. Fantastic start for me. FML.
Surprised at some 16 selections. This was probably the most difficult game to pick from

Yeah but it's true.Fair warning mate, that is the Brain Child of GG
Yeah but it's true.
90% of the time home team wins 9-7, 10-6, 11-5. So average 10-6. But 10-6 itself happens almost all the time out of those. The rare week it's 8-8. And rarer the away teams win 9-7 or 10-6. Maybe once a season.

No. And watch end of this week it'll be 10 home teams. So in other words anything can happen.![]()

The only thing you did do was manage to talk me down from the 11CR i did have them at to 7 which i am kicking myself at in hindsight. Not sure. But if you research last year. 17 weeks. Bet it was like 90% of the time. On bye weeks that becomes something like 8-6 or 9-5How many times did it happen last season?
Just trying to get in your head. I just thought this game was the most deserving 1cr game. Sure, Seahawks home record is imposing, so it's a brave smart gamble to put 7cr. A brave stupid gamble is tomatosauceling putting 16cr on the peckers.I am not disputing this and like you mentioned this is the norm but still anything can happen!
You also said this morning i was wasting anything from 4CR to 11CR on Seattle as GB were going to win.....![]()

I am staying away from these boards before games now especially on Monday morning!

Carolina collapsing down my CR rankings without Cam...
Why it was a 1cr is because Rodgers an elite qb, good receivers, playmakers on D. They had a chance. So the risk of going heavy on Seahawks. Those other games you listed are low cr games too. Would occupy the 1-5 cr spots in whatever order one wanted. No disputes there. Just most afraid of an underdog with an elite qb.The more i studied this game the more appealing Seattle were.
I can list 5 more genuine 1CR games than this one with the record the Seahawks have at home coupled with what they do in home openers.
GMen at Lions
Skins at Texans
Minny at Rams
Pats at Fins ( IF Brady misses )
Bengals at Ravens
All these games are harder to pick than what Seattle was today.
I overrated the peckers. Not against the best Defense in the league and i am not surprised Rodgers scored below 8pts in 90% of all fantasy comps.
Seattle D shuts down better QB's and passing games than what GB could deliver today.
I overrated the peckers.
That was a shit effort tho. Like others said earlier, Rams and cardinals gave the Seahawks a fight and or beat them last year. That game was a test of where the packers are. They're not a contender. The NFC north is wide open now.Yep no arguments there mate!
Packers are a good team don't get me wrong and they will be in the playoffs if Rodgers stays healthy for sure but the Seahawks by all stats have the best D the league has seen since the 85 Bears. When you couple this with an offense that it is not shabby either with a fully fit Harvin now and a maturing Wilson they are scary good.
Agree and Tampa are a massive chance with a hurt Cam.
