I'm tempted to flip to Washington against Dirty Bird purely to create an all-in poker-like move. No kissing cousins. Winner takes all.

But I dunno. That tie could come in handy in the ND division standings ;)

That's really the only comp (and LCS) left for me to fight for.
What's your division like?
If it's a shitty division I can understand accepting a tie.
If it's a good division, you'd need a win more. So going for the W would help immensely.

NO

If you miss out on playoffs by half a game at years end, you'll look back and go 'if I changed my tip there, or there, I'd be in playoffs' - Don't let this week be the one you rage over. Nothing is better than a win in AE. Go for it.

Woodson will be talking about it all day tomorrow, about your guts, the showdown between 2 rivals. It could take game of the round for it's last second trick play for the win. Will it pay off? Stay tuned to Monday Night Football to find out. But you need to select Washington first.

In the unlikely event the Redskins can do what happens so often in the NFC East and get an upset-win, Dirty Bird will look back at these posts begging GG to flip to the Redskins and cringe :)

Im all for making Dirty Bird cringe.

However, I have to sleep on it. Im crazy and ballsy. Not like Im gonna SERIOUSLY win any AE comps this year (or ever?), so why not, who the heck really cares if i blow 15 on washington and lose a tie. In the big scheme of AE things, it doesnt matter.

But i have to think about it.

GG has to ask himself two questions... with JD doing the rest of the JJ Watt division a favour (sorry mattyt78) but GG needs to put his conscience to work. A tie is clearly the best result as if I were in the same situation, taking a defunct performing team that lacks onfield leadership won't get you that miracle victory.

Disappointing Chris25 forgot to submit his picks = gifting Manureid a walk up victory. Hopefully Chris is safe. One has to wonder if he went AWOL unintentionally or whether something more concerning has occurred?

But a win ****s me over.
That's best for AE.
He'll go Washington.
His ego will ensure it.

Why don't you tip Washington and go for the win and let GG stick with the cowboys ?

Skins Vs Cowboys game have a history of upsets. Never a sure win for any team and anything can happen.

We are due for a let down game but who knows if it is today.

Just sayin.

If the Skins were more settled at the QB possy I would be giving them more of a chance as Morris will need to have a blinder for them to roll us.

As a Cowboys supporter though 90% are wondering when the big disaster game happens!!

I'm egging myself on to go for the win vs db

Where do I stand in terms of wild card for the conference? A tie vs win vs loss

Scores are already tied. Why are you feeling 'obligated' ?? scared of dancing with DB?

Do you feel that Moo (4-4) & Fuey (in the box seat) are going to leave you behind? look at this way GG.. a TIE is better than a loss which helps you get over MOO (if he stumbles) because he completely embarrassed you last week so he has h2h tie-breaker over you.

GG's run home:
Bucketss
Blacky
fuey
Chadwiko

You're 3-3 in the Conference. It's all borderline at this stage… it really comes down to the next four weeks. Sweep the next four weeks and hope Moo drops one as he has a reasonable chance to go 4-0 like yourself. All to do with getting those double digit picks correct. I rolled the dice in the desperate J-E-T-S and got torched..:( matt_897 will need to go Foreskins for me to pull out an unlikely victory because I've got Cowboys locked in. As already stated by Chism … Redskins are totally in flux in QB position even though history says these division match ups can produce an upset. I don't see this happening this time around. Murray should continue to run riot.

I don't need to use stats to sound intelligent in this conversation considering you used an aberration to justify a tip.
Seriously, I agree Green Bay is better. I probably would've given them 14 if it was at Lambeau. But the Saints are a different team at home, it's plain and simple.

From Grantland, towards the bottom of this article;

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/n...falcons-arizona-cardinals-new-orleans-saints/

I’ve already written about how Drew Brees isn’t any worse in cold weather, just that he’s better at home than he is on the road. It’s true the Saints are better in Louisiana than they are anywhere else, but every team in football is better at home than it is on the road. The question with the Saints, really, is whether the difference between their home and road performance is bigger than that of other NFL teams.

The Saints have been significantly worse on the road in 2014, but what if we look back since 2006, the year that Sean Payton and Brees arrived in New Orleans? Here’s how they’ve performed inside and outside of New Orleans during the Brees era, with rankings relative to the rest of the NFL:

Category
Home Rank Road Rank
Winning Percentage
7 7
Points For
2 2
Points Against
15 19
Point Differential
5 3

The numbers say it all. The Saints’ play on the road, relative to the rest of the league, is almost identical to how they’ve performed at home. If there’s anything to their poor road performance in 2013 and 2014 (a combined 3-9) that wouldn’t have been in effect during their away games from 2006 to 2012 (33-23), it’s not coming to mind. Given that their four road losses this year include three games decided by a field goal or less, the case that they’re fatally flawed away from home seems pretty spurious.

I have other priorities (like DZE)
GG only has this.
It was in both our interests for me Cowboys, him Washington.

Wrecking ball crane operator has been called and is on standby!!

18 in the 3xko gun and will be eliminated should the Skins get this
