It does make sense, not saying it was the right move, but they can reasonably justify the decision. Gets the team back into the 2nd round, which will be good. It could be a great move if they get someone really good at 35, it could suck if someone really good goes at 10. Will have to wait and see.
Could it be Goddard at 14 with a fall back position of Oscar McDonald with our 2nd if we miss out on Goddard. I do not want Caleb Marchbank.

Another trade season down and I am delighted with the results. We have always been good at trading and recruiting and this year looks pretty good as well. We obviously have someone specific in mind at the draft that will be there at 14 so it's worth upgrading our second rounder and we get 2 depth players in areas of need for nothing. Best of all though is that no one wanted to leave and although that has never been too big an issue for us this year had me worried as every other club seemed to get stung. Obviously got a good culture amongst the playing group and now maybe with a bit better strategy in the coaches box we will see this list were it should be, top 4.

Geeze, I know it is good to have varied opinions on here, but some of the Debbie Downers have just gotten so ridiculous, they've become parodies of themselves and it'd be great if we could vote them off the island.

Seriously, they've gone beyond glass half empty, right to glass has holes in the bottom. No matter what you put into it, their glass will always be empty.

I notice they came out angry at the start of the show, get the listeners fired up then ask all the tough questions as "the 19th man want answers". If you've got a question/problem just come out and ask it, don't hide behind the supporters.

The swapping of draft picks is baffling. Just absolutely baffling. It defies common sense. Teams are trading away valuable commodities to get the best picks. And we are deliberately giving away 4 spots at the best end of the draft to gain 12 spots at the lottery part of the draft.

This is turning into some Oakland Raiders type shit.

Playing in an array of positions, Duggan offers get-up-and-go from half back, is particularly dangerous around the stoppages and loves to run and carry with his line-breaking speed. The talented left footer has also shown he’s dangerous and effective around goal, kicking three final-quarter goals against the Northern Knights earlier in the year off just four disposals in a come-from-behind win
Hmm, speedy left footer? Could play down back to replace Smith or go in the midfield himself?
