Nice hit up from Strachan to Gollant at about 1:16 mark. Strachan looks like he knows how to kick and get the ball from hip to foot with relative ease.

Definitely looks more natural in his kicking action than ROB and a lot quicker from hand to foot as well. ROB takes an eternity to get the ball onto his foot, that it's really not worth it unless he has all the time in the world.

So, just thinking about ROB vs Strachan, what is your opinion about why Strachan can't break into the seniors?
I understand the tacit pecking order and leadership group stuff but I would value the board here to scutinise the two ruckmen.
I'm progressively less impressed by ROB the more I see him.

Well he showed he has a left foot in that very same game if you watched it, but like most AFL players they're very, very ordinary off their "wrong" foot so Lachie's obviously no exception.

I did watch it and the only time he used his left was on the goal line. One of his goals he turned onto his left an awkwardly kicked with his right which is what led to my question. I may have missed him kicking with his left at other times.
For the record, I am not being critical of him as I reckon he'll have a good career.

I liked Cook early on but where did he go after that? I didn't spot him anywhere.

Zac Taylor looking like a draft steal..

Stalking your guys forum to see any comments on how Taylor is going. I was filthy we didn't draft him and couldn't believe we passed on him 3 times. Keen to see how he goes but I thought he was a massive steel at 44.

Oh yeah Taylor showed his wares similar to u18s. Has time with the ball, makes good decisions and executes well. Looks a natural mid but not sure where he finds a spot on our side though given Sloane, Crouch, Keays and Laird are such locks and then you have Schoenberg, Berry and Pedlar ahead.
