Will have zero impact on the way this game goes, unless you think players are reading social media threads about Rankine in their free time. He was always coming home now, they’ve known this since he left. We had our last main training session today too.

A club legend and former captain is playing his 300th this week and we are in our first final for 8 years, I reckon that’ll be occupying the minds of all players 2 days out from the game.
LOL! And you think that they aren't?

It's being talked about everywhere on both mainstream and social media.

As the saying goes you wouldn’t need guns to invade Melbourne, just a megaphone.

Crows need to be ruthless and aggressive- without overstepping the mark ( looking at Tex and Darcy here). If they are on mentally they should win.

They handled the heat against Collingwood and Hawthorn in what I thought was a finals like game/atmosphere.

Collingwood have an aura but that's it - if you can see through it they get exposed for being totally mediocre.

Got Pies here.
Just a hell of alot more September experience and finals type game to them when they get going.
It counts in games in finals to have this.
In a way its gold to have any finals experience
And what is needed to succeed in September is key on winning the premiership.
Pies know what it takes
Besides they won the 2023 premiership not long ago

Does it tho dogs had stuff all and the crows in 97 had stuff all

When the answer is Mason Cox, you just know they're praying for a 2018 PF miracle.

Watched Fogarty come to Alberton a few times in the reserves. Old fashioned muscle with class who likes it hot. He's built for finals. They'll use him on ball/ wing in bursts, especially when the opposition have momentum. Impeccable visionary kick either foot, crashes packs. Collingwood don't have an answer for him, unless they take a risk with the two other forwards. Collingwoods defence toothless.

It is set up a bit like the Brisbane vs Richmond 2019 QF.

The hosts with a fantastic breakout season, but not much finals experience.
The visitors with a flag 2 years prior.

Richmond taught Brisbane a lesson that night. The difference was they finished the H&A season in good form and on a big run of wins. Their squad also wasn't nearly as old as this Pies unit.

I guess we're going to find out just how important that finals experience is.

I thought that was our supporter base.
Being a Port supporter, you would certainly understand that concept.

Kind of right there Pies in 2025 reminds me of Richmond in 2019 won 2017 Pies 2023.
Kind of smarting from the previous year 2018 tigers and pies 2024.
Kind rekindle the flame of the flag winning finals to win it again.
Following similar parallels
Always thought Pies era similar to that of the tigers.
Also both have similar game style.
Run and gun and manic footy.
Pies i think perfected it
tigers started it in 2017
Still got Pies winning this one.
The beliefs back.
Starting to just click into gear now.

Crows are the Pies in 2022.
On the right track now.
Still another year away from its first flag since 1998
I have Lions going back to back this year.
Collingwood next flags 2 years away life after Pendles and co.
Having said that Pies win the next games they win the flag this season.
Beat crows win in the mcg prelim and win the grand final at the mcg

Hard to argue with any of this.

Crows by 22

Win Win scenario for Adelaide though, they win and go through to a prelim. They lose and Rankine will be available for the Gf if they go through.
we lose tomorrow night we will be out in straight sets. its a south aussie thing... anything port do the crowws can do better
