I hate you, Milkman Dan.

He probably just realised David Kellett may not go top 10 after all.

Nah, apart from that blunder he has a pretty good track record as he gets to talk to the clubs. He nailed Boyle at 51 last year, that's a very good get.

I wish he would hurry up too.

Good get, Tonka.

The man is clearly on drugs. 4 junior midfielders for Port, and only one tall?

For Hawthorn:
25. Luke Peel - Be fairly happy with this.
41. Shane Tuck - Bit of a stretch, but could be worth it.
51. Matthew Ball - This would not surprise me at all. Libba has been pushing Bally really hard and we could do with a tagger.

But this would mean just 1 underage pick, pretty ordinary as we only had 3 last year.

You can tell when he has some inside info on the probability of a club picking up a certain player.

Seems we are hell bent on Chaplin for the soon to be vacant CHB role. Jed Adcock would be a great choice if only for the name.

I reckon it is - they have uploaded it but were planning on officially "releasing" it this afternoon. The formatting is still stuffed.

Be funny if it wasn't the right one though.

Some big sliders, Stewart, Gayfer and Spencer in particular. Julian Rowe would be an absolute bargain in the 70's for the Tigers.

Crows will be in trouble if Freo do take Hall at 12 - have to go for Ericksen.

For all the hype of Surjan and Burgess they are both outside the top 20.

Any surprise omissions? Ben Cosgriff and Luke Herrington for mine.

It's massivley Victorian biased again. There is more to Australia than just Victoria.....

How so? I think you are forgetting that 10 of the clubs are Victorian, and if it's a line ball decision they will go for the local kid everytime.

Oh ofcourse I agree with that, but alot of WA players going lower, way lower than their quality suggests versus Victorian players.

I dunno GH, we'll see Saturday I suppose.

Symes -and- Nash
Miller -and- Sansbury

That just makes no sense.

I just read your opinion of Jed Adcock GoaldenHawk.

Sold me.

Get him Nev!!! His name is Jed!!!

Probably made to put it up after it was leaked!

If Jed goes one pick before Hawthorn's I will be upset. Especially as we could have had picks 9 and 24 (Chaplin and Adcock) for Rawlings.

Why get Chaplin when you have Jacobs!?!?!?!

Sorry.

;)

But it is still a guess...

Just to remind you how he went last year..
Picked 53 players (including five father/sons) of the 69 players selected in the draft. (53-5)/(69-5)=75%
Missed 16 players that were drafted.
Predicted 20 passes and 19 passes were taken.
Only two players from the first 44 predictions of the phantom draft were not drafted. 4.5%
Picked eight of the top ten – including four in exact order.
To me, whilst this may have be due to the Carlton draft pick bans and Schammer dropping down lower than expected, it shows that whilst most people agree on who the top picks are, where they are heading is still up in the air.
Picked 11 players of the first round (15 selections) – including four in exact order. 73% and 26% exact
Selections exactly correct – 26 (10 players/16 passes) 10/64=15.6%
Correct club and player/wrong selection – 5

Players who were predicted to be drafted yet did not get selected
1. David Kellett (26)
2. Ryan Crawford (39)
3. Courtney Johns (45)
4. Robbie Cheevers (46)
5. Daniel Gilmore (48)
6. Luke Mullins (50)
7. Joel MacDonald (53)
8. Dylan Harper (55)
9. Paul Shelton (59)
10. Matthew Shir (61)
11. Ricky Mott (63)
12. Ryan Ablett (64)
13. Michael Osborne (65)
14. Adrian Wilson (69)
15. Jason Cripps (79)

Players who were drafted yet were not predicted in the phantom draft
1. Will Minson (20)
2. Jared Rivers (26)
3. Brad Murphy (33)
4. Tim Fleming (41)
5. Leigh Fisher (46)
6. Cameron Wight (49)
7. Cameron Hunter (54)
8. Wade Champion (57)
9. David King (58)
10. Brett Doswell (63)
11. Lochlan Veale (65)
12. Ryan Ferguson (66)
13. Matthew Lokan (70)
14. Brad Fisher (72)
15. Karl Norman (79)
16. Mick Martyn (84)

Weaver/Porthos/Dasler/GOALden Hawk etc... can you see a common theme in why these guys were missed or picked? I know that quite a few of those not picked ended up on rookie lists, but were they generally light, small, injury prone etc?

I just can't comprehend all the hype about this, I mean is the guy any more of an expert than some of those who have posted Phantom Drafts on here?

He has more access to talk to club recruiters.
