No....it started sucking when i started to post.....me and my open mindness and critercisim

That's actually wrong. There are two ways that players get discounted. Either their price gets halved - as happened to Adcock, Brooks, McGlynn, McDougall, McConnell and Morton last year - or they use the same magic number but change the average they use to some multiple of 5, as happened to 13 other players. We haven't been able to figure out a system yet for what multiple of 5 they use. And then there were over 100 players who played between 1 and 8 games who didn't get discounted, again seemingly at random.

Too true. It's fine to have players you're looking at buying, but to be pretty much making a team based on last years salary cap and calculated prices by fans means you're getting way ahead of yourself.

With the way things were looking at the end of last year's comp the game will be different and all of the teams that people are putting up now will be largely useless.

That was Champion Data who did that, not VirtualSports. I've never talked to anyone from VirtualSports.

Interested in peoples thoughts on how they are stacking their bench....

Are you looking at filling all places with with guys below and around the 100K mark such as the Eberts, Sellars, Palmers, Morton or are guys looking at having a little more experience on the pine like Ellis, Lower, Barlow and the likes....

The bench is really the most important part of your team IMO as this is where the cash will flow from for upgrades more then likely....

Thoughts on the Pine?

you want comments on your team after posting it and telling everyone it was under the salary cap a couple of times only to be proven wrong. You at least need to post the total for anyone to believe you again.

the fan footy thing stuffed up last time. I made a whole new team hoping it doesnt stuff up again with the total. I was left with $8,100

Well the first three are great...after that:

Fevola - Struggles in DT
Rusling - Is just an average player
Thompson - Never been a great DT player, coming back from knee reco.
Cotchin - Wont play that many games this year.

They think they know but I suspect they're really just guessing because they can't wait to make a team and post it for everyone to comment on.

I'll wait for DT to open before I make a team but each to his own. It is fun but personally I just can't be stuffed when it doesn't mean anything.
