Yes, Tru Blu said there will be a 2014 roster and graphical update sometime around mid 2014.

I don't understand why they don't release it at start of season when all fans are hyped up for season, and you can then play through the coming schedule. This time it was so late that the rosters were already out of date by the time I could buy it. I'm playing as Saints and I've got Kosi in there when mentally we're already looking at next year's list.

Agree - should be released around the nab cup ... i finished my first season and in orrder to retire tuck i didn't give hime a contract - now he plays for north :mad:

Had to bring hampson in by trade but send nahas and mcguane and ny 2nd rounder to brisbane for their first pick thhen sent that pick and dericx to carlton for hampson .... pain in the ass .... also too much quality draftees at the 3rd+ rounds ...
 
Also taking a mark or evebn spoiling in a contested situation on hard difficulty is next to impossible .... the gap between med and hard is too much - medium I'm smashing teams by 50-100pts but its the complete opposite on hard ... playing v GCS at the moment on hard ... third qtr and i still haven't score v their 10 goals .... its pretty frustrating ...

i don't mind it being later in the year before the finals, then the teams Performance is based on the current season, not the season prior
 
trying to update the lists for the trades etc, can u not delist retired players like in the 1st game? and only trade? so you can't just add fa's to thier new team?

I'm currently going through the arduous task of editing every AFL player ranking to rightly reflect their true ranking, with only ~10 or so players on 90 or above. A model to share player rankings with other players would be great.

Whoever did the player ratings obviously goes for St Kilda, also Jeremy Howe's 'speckie' rating is like 65 or something? - The player ratings don't bother me so much because you can actually change them, but yeah, they are dodgy.
 
more i read about this game (i prefer to play the 1st one still) the less i like.... you can't even move single players (like FA's) between teams...

yer how? i have tried but to no avail :( i have heard about a DLC for next year but the whole game needs fixing as well IMO
 
****ing hell the difference between medium and hard difficulty is astounding.

Medium difficulty I'm killing it. Switch to hard, now Pavlich has kicked 8 by quarter time on me, Hayden Ballantyne is outmarking Dale Morris one on one. Sandilands is injured but Stephen Hill keeps dominating Minson in the ruck. Suddenly Ryan Griffen is a spud who can't outrun anyone.

Have smashed it on hardest level with a B-team.

Hold L2 when you ruck. You'll thump it clear.
 
They really need to reduce the amount of players falling over. Missing a mark should only make you fall over during a specky or in a pack.
Also, do players lead or run onto the ball in this game? In AFL Live you could often kick the ball in front of your team mate and he would automatically run to it, in this game it rarely seems to work. This may be due to my skill though.
