Was excited for a minute but now I'm not very enthused.
Unless whoever is developing is building on BigAnt's previous effort - I don't have much faith this will be any good
I had the Wii version, it was just random names for the lower leagues, pretty sure there was no likeness either.
Really worried if it is Wicked Witch, but I'll give them a chance and see what they can do, no PC version is super disappointing though.
So bummed. I really loved the engine that Big Ant had developed. It was a great foundation to be built upon, and was some minor tweaking here and there away from making it a great game. The jump from RLL1 to RLL2 was amazing and I was sincerely hoping this would translate to AFL Live, but alas.
I'll be sure to check out AFLL2, and will probably purchase it, but I can't say I'm excited at all.
I guess there's always the original AFL Live.

The Facebook announcement says the managing director is Sebastian Giompaolo. A Google search for him has Wicked Witch as the first link.

Needs be a pro mode but I guess that's more likely down the track.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was done on a modified version of the Wii game.
I don't like BAS but was still going to get the game, not interested now that its Wicked Witch. Graphics don't even matter but I'm willing to bet they will be awful even on that AFL LIVE 2 cover alone.
Stoneyhawk was right on the money. The feature list sounds basically the same as the wii game (minus mini contests)

No. It's Bigants engine, so I can't see how they can give it to WW. Unless Tru Blu somehow own the rights to it, but that wouldn't be the case because they are only the publisher.
So much to criticize about this such as bumping and tackling etc. are not features and should not be announced as such, It's seems there is no other minor leagues than vfl and tac which is rubbish either bring in all minor leagues or none at all, One of the points is about being able to control players that's like saying you can play the game wtf?, Atleast it's got twilight games yay! And looks like the cover image was designed by local school kids. ( sorry to be so negative but early signs are so disappointing) On another not ign say when they asked for a developer the reply was "tru blu are developing the game" either it's some new studio working on it or tru blu know the negative implications that will come from announcing WW as developer.

He's with HES, who publishes Wicked Witch games as well as Big Ant to some degree.

So there's still a bit of hope.
It's still sounding like it will just be an updated AFL(Wii) in HD.
And other things that are on our side is that WW have never developed a game for Xbox or PS3
