Shhhhhh!

That sort of comment will make Tiggers fan cry and fling manure at you.

I'm one of Cotchin's biggest fan, even him being a Richmond player. The kid will be a superstar. However Yarran could be something out of this world.

Shit he looks better than I thought, he'll have a good young support group around him, not to mention our indigenous guys, I've got faith in our leaders to keep him with us. I just wish the bloody season was tomorrow, can't wait to head back to the footy.

now we can start the Yarran > Jetta, Davey banter :)

I think that video just blew Jetta's doors off and we wont get any arguments about the quality of Yarren over Jetta

With a sig like that I'm certainly not going to question your knowledge - too much sense right there. The West Australian posters are all mad nuts about this young man. I sense a cult following.

Totally true. I will be watching a far few Blues games because of this kid. I watch him in the WAFL this year and he is ridiculously talented. I am Massive fan of Rich but Yarran is the one to watch. There is something about him!

I don't think you lot realise how lucky you are to get him at pick 6. You Bastards :p

i follow swan districts and have watched yarran play a bunch. the only small doubt is that he looks a bit casual out there so some people percieve a lack of genuine effort at times. that said he is pure magic when he gets the prune he is the type that could get 7 touches that most players could do very little with and he ends up with 5 or 6 goals. the bloke is absolutely unbelievable in terms of skill level for a 17 yr old. he is the perfect fit for carlton crumbing off fev and will be brilliant if he can add a bit more defensive pressure in your forward 50 to his game. hope he does real well and that goes for all the swannies kids

Can't stop smiling, reading some of these comments on the lad.

Bring on 09, I'm pumped! Not sure how much that'll help the team, but I can't wait to see the boys in action with gun recruit Yazza chipping in with 30 odd goals.

*giggles with excitement then falls asleep, yet somehow manages to complete post*

C4, thanks for posting that - brilliant write up.

What I am pleased about, is that nowhere under his weaknesses is work ethic included, yet he's been called lazy by so many and still some call him lazy. He's a beauty.

Cheers, BrandOfCookingOilMan. Would you mind dropping in every couple of weeks to pump his tyres up? Just for the Nervous Nellies around here. If he turns out half as good as you WA track watchers suggest...............WOOHOO! :thumbsu:

I was not keen on us picking up Yarran as I have seen him play live a couple of times and like most thought he looks a little lazy. But he is slowly growing on me.

I think he is just the player we need, we have gone safe with our early picks at the last 3 drafts. This was the perfect opportunity to take a risk and I now believe it will pay off.

Cant wait to see him lining up next to Fev in rd 1 next year.

In regards to him settling in and hitting the track hard, I am just glad that we have Chris Judd setting an example for him.

The skills on these kids today are just mind blowing. As mentioned before, you just cant teach this stuff.

Just magic for AFL football, hope to sit back and marvel at Yarran and the others for years to come.

Best bloody game in the world!
