Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Definitely! Especially if we are going to lose Merrett. We need to bring some excitement into the club for next season. We can’t put all our eggs in one basket with a bunch of picks in a “weak” draft. If we are willing to offer bailey insane money cant see why we wouldnt offer something big for humphrie. Blow the others out the park $ wise and give up 1 of our top picks.

Absolutely agreeI do not think there is any doubt we would be looking at making Humphrey an offer. That would be a given.
I am just a bit suspect when I read clubs are saying he is gettable.
It was reported that Redman was reaching out to other clubs as well but it was the other way around.
I do not actually see the GC being interested in trading him.
Oliver has a mental illnessAs much as I'm absolutely filthy at Merrett for the way he's handled the last month, I can't compare him to Oliver. Even in the last 24 hours, look at how they both have handled being asked whether they're leaving their clubs.
Oliver has huge issues that I hope he can sort out, but no part of me would want him, even if he were free.
You really are bitter.Oliver has a mental illness
Zach is Sam Mitchell in an Essendon jumper. Anything at any cost. Lies out his ass. You think this hasn't impacted the young kid in the club your dreaming

Apparently Zach only wants the hawks. I reckon there’d be plenty of other teams interested if it wasn’t for Zachs blinkersTrac choosing GC is perfect for us. Hopefully Adelaide re-enter the Merrett convo and drive the price up
I think if you are contracted player wanting to break that contract then I believe that club has the discretion to choose any other that most satisfies in a trade. What is the point of FA if a player can just break a contract and still have the power to choose a preferred club?Apparently Zach only wants the hawks. This is the afl. A deeply flawed 'competition' that doesn't make a lot of sense in so many ways on so many levels.I think if you are contracted player wanting to break that contract then I believe that club has the discretion to choose any other that most satisfies in a trade. One day they'll realise that "nominate a state" is the fairest way forward for contracted players wishing to leave. This is the afl. A deeply flawed 'competition' that doesn't make a lot of sense in so many ways on so many levels.
Players have way too much power and this trend of wanting out while contracted is going to explode. This is the afl. A deeply flawed 'competition' that doesn't make a lot of sense in so many ways on so many levels.
unbelievableBand 2 for Draper according to Cal.
Hopefully we can trade up

I wonder if clubs will start pushing back at long term contracts?Players have way too much power and this trend of wanting out while contracted is going to explode.
There will be times that this will be an option but only under certain circumstances. However just wanting out bc the club is not winning anything is absolutely ludicrous and should be shut down immediately. These players were never under any duress to sign that contract.
