Were any of you Perth guys in attendance that night (following the Collingwood match at Telstra Dome)? There seemed to be an awful lot of people there, more than the usual gathering after Victorian games anyway! I seem to recall it being a long weekend in Perth. Rate it as a good function?

It was a long weekend that weekend. I was going to go over, but ended up having to work here on that Friday.

Yeah, some costly misses by us, and it didn't look bright at 4-7 after that game.

We started the game very poory and were playing alright footy from the third quater but if i remeber quickly we were making a slight comeback and with about 15-20 mintues left we were down by less than 30 and then the flipping pies started running down the clock and we couldnt get a kick let alone 5 goals. Very frustrating night (except when Quinten snapped Rocca's anke )

I actually thought we started the game pretty well, I remember being 20pts up early on, but then Collingwood gradually worked their way back into it and caught us.

Yeah your probably right but I remebr cleary that we were well behind in the third before mounting a comeback before the pies starting tooling around with it and started pulling my hair out.

Yeah, we were within touching distance but just weren't good enough on the night. What region of Melbourne are you from mate (if you don't mind me asking)? I'm out west, in Hoppers Crosssing.
