Good to see Lids and Riewoldt selected:thumbsu: hopefully they can make the team.

Essendon: Dustin Fletcher, Jobe Watson
Fremantle: David Mundy, Matthew Pavlich, Aaron Sandilands
Geelong Cats: Gary Ablett, Corey Enright, Paul Chapman, Steve Johnson, James Kelly, Harry Taylor, Joel Selwood
Hawthorn: Luke Hodge, Lance Franklin
Melbourne: James Frawley, Brad Green, Mark Jamar
North Melbourne: Brent Harvey, Brady Rawlings, Andrew Swallow

Surely Jack will get the FF spot. That's locked in.

Deledio's is going to be a fair bit harder. Hopefully he can get a spot.

Back spots will be between Fletcher, Mundy, Kelly, Taylor, Hodge, Frawley, Goddard, Lake, Malceski and Deledio. Locks are O'Brien, Goddard, Lake and Hodge. Surely they would not give the 15th placed team two AA players.

How is O'Brien a lock? He has been that much poorer than most of the other players nominated here it's not funny. He leaks goals, he's easily shut down, and to top it off he has a grand total of one trick up his sleeve - run 10m and then indiscriminately kick it as far as he can down the line.

Deledio spanks Mundy's little baby arse & I reckon he has Malceski covered too.
Frawley plays a different role and is a little overrated.

Deledio deserves a back flank IMO...

This is the exact way i see it as well

Not sure if you're serious there Bojangles. Connors is no chance and Newman is just, only just starting to earn kudos.

Connors missed 9 weeks(?) for his Sydney thing and seriously doesnt deserve it purely from a behavioral POV,,,

In fact the more i start explaining, the more I realise you're taking the piss.

Both could be a genuine chance in the future though.

Harry O'Brien will get in although he's been about 5th best of the HBF-ers. Solely on hype.

I'd have Hodge and Goddard ahead of Deledio on the HB as well.

For mine I'm expecting something like this as the final side:

B: Enright Lake Rawlings
HB: Goddard Taylor Hodge
C: Pendlebury Swan Montagna
HF: Johnson Riewoldt Chapman
F: LeCras Hall Green
R: Sandilands Hayes Ablett
I/C: Judd Selwood Didak Boyd

when I saw Harry Taylor up there I considered Connors, gee, he's worth 10 HT in fact i reckon moore is a better player than Taylor...if this stool pidgeon is selected ahead of Lids then they are deluded

Moore better then Taylor?

Is that you Cousins? Can you share some of what your smoking?

In no way does Connors/Moore deserve a AA selection this year, they have been good but in no way have they been better then Taylor.

RT, I think you'll find Jack and Hall might be reversed in their positions. The Coleman medalist doesn't get named at CHF in the AA sqaud.

Hodge should not be on the HB line, he deserves to be in the centre as that is where he has played the most this season.

Yep, that's right. If O'Brien was an anglo guy without dreads who didn't have some lame website he would hardly be mentioned by the press, the AA selectors, or on BF...

B - Enright, Lake, O'Brien
HB - Goddard, Taylor, Deledio
C - Montagna, Hodge, Hayes
HF - Chapman, Franklin, Didak
F - LeCras, Riewoldt, Johnson
Foll - Sandilands, Swan, Ablett
Inter - Judd, Hall, Boyd, Green

That's my guess. Although I don't think Lids really will get in but there isn't too many other options in the squad. Reckon Sam Gilbert was a bit stiff.

geez, gimmee Lids, Connors, newy and Moore ahead of these two spuds any day of the week ending in "Y"
