I gotta admit I havent watched alot of the Cats of late, perhaps Ive missed something, I alaways saw Taylor in the same kinda mould as McGuane...How he could be selected ahead of Lids is delusional...Lids can do anything on the football field..HT is LUCKY he was drafted by the right club

I agree that Lids would probably be ahead of him in terms of performance this year, but you've got to take into account that Taylor is a CHB, and so there was very little competition in that position this year, whereas Lids is competing against some top notch opposition in the HBF position.

Taylor's very different to McGuane though - a great mark, great user of the ball, very composed. He's come a long way since his first year in 08.
