Ian Healy - Queensland - 1965-1989
The only elite keeper left imo. Best to grab em early on.

Na thanks for offering thoughI can go if you really want me to...

no clever playing on words?I'd argue your bowling is a little light on for real firepower, WT. Focusing a little too much on batting depth?![]()
If I were you, I'd move everybody up one and play an extra bowler (although Gilchrist could stay at 7, Botham to #6). Still, though, decent bowling attack1. W.G.Grace

Happy so far. Bat fairly deep. Could do with a few more top line batsman but can't complain so far.

Did I tell ya about the day I made 80 against Taity, haha don't think he will qualifyShaun Tait is still available, yes.
Waiting.....Waiting.....Waiting.....Still courtjester with the double.

I keep waiting for him to turn towards me and scare the shit out of me, haha.
Thoughts?1: Richards

3: Ponting
4: Tendulkar
5: Walcott

7: Healy

9: Marshall
10: Warne

Can't fault it mate. Any side with Tendulkar, Ponting and Warne in it will be tough to beat. Plus u got a great in Healy who knows how to keep to Warney.Thoughts?
Feel that my batting and bowling lineups have a good core already. All I need is a solid opener and a bowling all-rounder and then I can take it easy pretty much.
Very solid team. Only problems so far IMO:Thoughts?

Thoughts? Might remove Rhodes from my team, unless he could play as a front-line spinner - could he? Bat fairly deep. Nee to get 2 more bowlers, but Murali and Khan are very good strike bowlers (especially in the subcontinent, part of the reason I haven't got more bowlers is because spinners are needed at Galle, but there are not lot of the real standout spinners (only about 3-4 (Warne, Murali, Laker, O'Reilly really stand out off the top of my head, others are exceptional, but not quite in that bracket, and even if they are/were, spinners aren't needed that badly in this draft, by most teams, so wouldn't be as sought after as fast bowlers + they're more likely to go under the radar as not as famous, e.g. many early spinners). Just need to pick a spinner + a wicketkeeper and then either another opener+another bowler or just another bowler1. Len Hutton

Hadn't looked at buy team like that for a while. I'm pretty happy with how that's looking. Could play another batsman as well as a wicketkeeper even. 3 bowlers (Imran is in the team as a bowler, batting is a bonus) + 2 all rounders who could be bowling or batting all-rounders - in the case of Rhodes, more there for his bowling, Aubrey the opposite. Might drop Rhodes though as well, get in a true opener and play 4 bowlers + Faulkner, who was a very, very handy spinner himself. My wicketkeeper doesn't need to be some incredible batter if he is coming in at 8 or 9. Can just be a pure gloveman - there are a few wicketkeepers from the old era that come to mind
Exactly why I selected Healy. He knows even more than Gilly about keeping to Warney imo. Can't fault it mate. Any side with Tendulkar, Ponting and Warne in it will be tough to beat. Plus u got a great in Healy who knows how to keep to Warney.
