Overpaid pretty severely. We paid more than they wanted last year. Only way this is a win is with a flag or two soon because we are have compromised our long term success.

For an uncontracted player with genuine go home reasons pretty shit by Geelong as well. I sincerely hope we don't with them again unless we bend them over.

You got a midfield rotation of Gaff/Yeo/Shuey/Kelly, these guys will take you to several preliminary finals in the next 5 years. Goodluck tagging that midfield.

If we win a flag in the next season or 2, then it’s worth it, it’s a simple as that. Who knows what potatoes we would’ve picked with or picks, better spend them on a known commodity that can help us right now, rather than a few kids for the Beagles team. We’ve got good youth as it is and good core of young, but experienced players.
