Alternative Cricket Websites?

I don't like the new cricinfo.com website. I hate how when everytime India play a series half of the home screen is taken up by some stupid video with people discussing India India India.

I especially hate the new cricket.com.au website. You can't click straight onto games from the main page, it looks like a 2 year old designed it and it is very confusing and hard to navigate.

As such, does anybody know of any alternative websites where you can follow cricket live? It would be good if we could have such links posted here. Alternatively, feel free to post similar rants against the rubbish CA website here. I posted very negative feedback on their page and I hope that y'all follow suit.

cricinfo still is easily the best. Never really had an issue with the videos popping up, but I use a laptop with https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/account/upgrades etc. so that might be the difference?

Why Doesn't My Video Player Allow Full Screen?
The video player is deliberately restricted to preventing full screen due to our various rights agreements with broadcasters.

Absolute pile of shit. It looks like it's a site aimed at five-year-olds, and was designed by someone who doesn't like sport.

You can't even get the stream unless you sign in. Normal behaviour these days but fed up with it. I can't keep track of my multi-identities anymore.

Having said all that - the replay system on the scorecard is brilliant (and long overdue, the Kiwis were doing it for the Plunkett Shield from about three or four years ago).

oh i didnt see that. my feedback thing was about how the lack of improvement in their domestic coverage was terrible. this is a good improvement. although does it only apply to the SACA stream? I cant see it on the Tas scorecard. And that's another issue, the gap between the best stream (SACA hands down) and the worst feed (now that the Victoria doesnt have sound, all of them) is terrible

What rights agreement? This is the only place it is showing isn't it? So why can't we watch it full screen.

CA should have every game shown with commentary, I don't care if they use the work experience kid!

The match is on again but the stream is showing the groundsmen effing about on the tea break. And sports fm is on a massive delay to match it. Bizarre.

Sportfm are a Perth community radio station and provide coverage of all WA Shield matches. Probably only for WA fans as they are very parocchial but I love 'em. Plenty of knowledge of the local and state scene by a bunch of old ex-players and younger trainee sports commentators.

Thanks. I don't mind parochial, it's to be expected for local commentary. Wish we had something similar over here.

The new scorecards are difficult to read or simply don't have the same information on them.When you have a video stream in a tab and the scorecard in another you receive two audio streams. There seems no way to check the leading run scorers or wicket takers. A very frustrating site.

Agree re the scorecard. Cricket scorecards have had the same basic format for as long as I can remember, why mess with that?

I am not someone who has difficulty adapting to change and am not a technophobe but I had huge problems getting to grips with the new site. I thought I was missing something somewhere as I couldn't believe a site could be 'upgraded' to something that was clearly worse than the previous version

Yeah we have commentary on the Adelaide oval matches. I can see the new site is aimed at mobile devices, limited information quickly. For those on a desktop it becomes cumbersome. They should design a mobile site and a desktop site.

That's what I actually thought when I first saw it, that I had accidentally found my way to the mobile site and was searching frantically for the desktop site, to no avail of course!

Everything CA touches seems to turn to shizen at the moment.
