Don't think people were saying that just responding to people saying that there was nothing offensive about the post & couldn't understand why it got deleted.

Yeah I do agree, I mean we used to watch it at work during our lunch breaks for a laugh, just because some of the topics were so insane. But I can't say it's regular viewing for me.

I too find it disgusting, but does it mean we have to sweep such things under the carpet for the sake of the moral majority.

In all likelihood, there would have been little discussion and it all would have faded away.

What you might call unneccessary censorship others might be perfectly happy with - it's just your view.

Jars I suppose an e-mail to the mods would have been out of the question? Because then you wouldn't get your five minutes of fame ranting about moderators.

Believe me, an e-mail will be answered a lot quicker than one post out of hundreds and hundreds posted each day.

Methinks you don't want the problem solved or question answered, you just want to beat up on moderators for dramatic effect.

I would be happy to do that if the person who had removed my thread had e-mailed me, explaining why which would also have been simple.

Most of what I do is for dramatic effect.

The thread that your post referred to wasn't posted by you. If an email had been sent to the poster of the jerry thread explaining why it was removed you would have been none the wiser.
So basically, your thread had no purpose in the first place, apart from having a gripe.
