I like to think that the artist is urging my brothers and sisters in the IDF to continue their battle against the terrorist forces holding our Palestinian cousins and Israeli's hostage so that the region can one day live in peace.

I had a look at that yesterday. None of the incidents mentioned that were mischarcterised as anti semitic I even knew about so it's likely only to impact the overall stats against the increase in antisemitic incidents.

Is there any indication of how significant the mischaractertizations were? My understanding though is that the legislative changes were based "partly" on those statistics.

Mostly the focus was on strengthening existing laws relative to racial and religious hatred, incitement to violence, nazi symbology, graffiti and the protection of access to religious sites, which I personally don't have any objections to.
