Loves all fantasy and sci fi movies with a happy ending. has watched them all 100s of times too
Ive seen them all because of going with her....Some are good if they have comedy and I love good CGI.

The only superhero film I remember watching as a kid was Superman from 1978 with Christopher Reeve and the late great Marlon Brando.

Christopher Reeve will always be Superman to me, like Michael J Fox playing Teen Wolf, anyone else playing those roles are imposters.




Brando playing Superman's father, they paid him a shitload to star in this film, he was still a huge star back then that could command top dollar.




The 70s did superhero films way better than the superhero films we see now.

Better stars, Christopher Reeve, Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, Margot Kidder, are you kidding me? And they had a way better soundtrack too.

I haven't seen a single MCU in cinemas.

Ant-Man to me was far and away the best of the lot. I don't mind a lot of them (soft spot for the Thors especially), but it is the sort of thing you eventually catch up with on television or by some other means. Even in terms of overall superhero/comics cinema MCU is very mid. I just can't imagine forking out for much of it unless I had nothing else to do or was in a clique obsessed with MCU.

Watchmen and the first Blade are the superhero films that most appeal to me.

Ant Man was awesome, you can't go wrong with Paul Rudd and it also had Michael Douglas who is the Marlon Brando of our generation.

Yeah I've become a big Paul Rudd fan. I wasn't a believer during the 90s and 00s but I've come around on him hard. Agreed, you can't go wrong, a naturally funny dude.

I'm a big fan of Paul Rudd, he's a big movie star now but he never forgets his old comedy roots.

Bill Burr tells a great story about how he was doing stand up in Atlanta where they were filming Anchorman 2 and Paul Rudd and David Koechner went to his stand up gig and then partied with him back stage.

No one has a bad story about Paul Rudd, he's a good guy.

A million movies and Netflix shows over the course of about 15 years. I watched infinity war and end game and loved it. Did I watch all 21 movies that lead to it? No. Probably half.
Still, the superhero thing continues on. Without sign of slowing.
Unfortunately it's something my mates talk about religiously and I'm kinda the odd one out.
Anyone else over it?

This is basically me as well. Maybe a Thor 1 and 2 and that's about it.

As for movies with more than 1 superhero (let alone 5 or 5), no thanks. 1 superhero is all you need.

Yes i have, was decent. I meant he is a superhero S.L.U.T - has been 3 different super heroes (in X-Men, Green Lantern and Deadpool)

X-Men is an exception to no more than 1 superhero as they are a package and always have been.
