According to Cricinfo the review will be tabled to CA today and tomorrow. Cricinfo implies there will be some sort of public statement tomorrow however it is unknown how much will be revealed to the public.

What are people's thoughts on what the review will say and whether it will change anything?

It will say we are doing great, especially the coaches and selectors.

They will bring in a new rule that Hilditch tweets axings to players to deal with that complaint.

And that we should use social media to search for a spinner.

And will have Steve Smith's face on the front cover.

Hilditch will go, the CA board who are doing their level best to kill test cricket so they squeeze a for more rupees will stay, nothing will change in the long run.

The fish rots from the head.

There will be a scapegoat, he might have already gone, and his name might be Simon K, but there's a chance someone else will be removed.
I love that. The poor preperation, ridiculous 17 man squad, baffling selection choices, middle order collapses, inability for our bowlers to take any wickets, being dominated by England's batsmen, complete and utter lack of competitiveness.

And the only person deemed at fault is Simon Katich.

The CA Board will not make the tough decisions.

If Hilditch stays on and RW Marsh is not appointd as our new Full Time Chairman of Selectors with the appointment of forward scouts to watch our next opponents, I think we should just avoid the cricket season!!

The Argus Review will not lead to CA making the hard decisions.

Tim Nielsen and Andrew Hilditch will retain their jobs....

And, James Sutherland will receive his lovely bonuses whilst sending Australian cricket on a downward spiral.

THE GOV

You could almost say they're in love with Indian money, would you agree Gov?

I thought this review was coming out today... or is it tomorrow? or is it coming to the public at all?

They're probably timing it late for Friday, so that Hilditch and co have the weekend to get a response up and ready and hopefully resignation papers.

aside from Greg Chappell being pushed off a building I'd like to see questions/investigations into

A) Why South Australia was allowed to be a rabble for so many years in the past decade. We're a 6 team comp that plays 10 games a season. We can't afford shit like that. And if there was nothing CA could do, look at implementing stuff so CA can do something about teams doing poorly for years.

B) The handling of Dougeh. From the Champions League to now. If he's supposedly not fit for tests maybe tell him to hit the gym instead of dragging him across the world to play in a OD series no-one cares about? Or if he needed match practice send him on the A tour instead of Siddle whose position wasn't under any threat (indeed it's only because of that tour there's talk from people that Siddle should miss)

C) The coaching staff. Neilsen got the top job because he's a good bloke. They probably didn't even do interviews for it. Langer got the batting coach role because he's a good bloke, and is such a good bloke he's been promoted! They didn't do any interviews for that - Neilsen drafted him in for that role. Meanwhile we seem to have some sort of no foreigners rule - which resulted in the first person being sacked after the Ashes being the part time fielding coach! And we replaced him with a guy who wasn't interviewed for the job....(although he's only a 2-3 month contract)....no wonder the coaching staff is a joke

don't care about hildtich. for me Chappell is the bigger problem. confirmations they're on the pathway to a individual commission would be nice. and getting rid of all of Chappell's reforms to the 2nd XI comp straight away and making it a 2nd XI comp again would be great. Regulation put in place to ensure the massive conflict in interests Cox and Boon had as selectors don't happen again

The fact they needed a report is a symbol of just how pissweak and pathetic they are.

Everybody knows Nielsen is a moron and Hilditch is a Clown; but they're too gutless to sack them themselves - so they waste time and money to produce a report that tells them what everybody already knew.

Then again, the Administration are clueless w***ers as well; if they had any integrity, they'd sack themselves.

It's funny when it comes to selection of the team or any issues in wider society, people are often split, but when it comes to Hilditch / Nielson / Chappell everyone is in agreement that they need to go.

News Limited is reporting that Chappell's influence on the players became so invasive that he was banned from the dressing room when the team was batting.

Haha, wow.

"He drove us all mad," one player said.

The players found Chappell such an unsettling influence in the dressing room, particularly when they were batting, that they asked he be excluded.

There were claims he undermined the coaching staff by becoming involved when he should have been a passive observer.

At least one player complained Chappell told him he was in the team when he had been overlooked.

He was also accused by another player of giving "mixed messages".

Holy shit.

Players complained about eroding standards in state cricket, the standard of juniors in the Futures League, a perceived lack of focus on Test cricket and too much emphasis on the Big Bash.

Thank Christ; at least the players aren't total mongs.
