They beat Hawks
Lost to Swans by 5 goals
Beat saints by 4 points
Lost to Port by 69 points
Beat the Dogs
Just got over the line against the Crows
Drew with the Pies
Only beat the Eagles by a goal
Then beat GWS who are on a major slide today.

Yep, good on them but tbh I don’t think there’s a really good win in there. Tbh I think their best performance was a draw this year and they have got wins against low or teams on the low.

Have * improved, yeah sure. Are they good yet. Nope

GWS getting found out a bit by teams applying elite pressure in second halves. Swans, us and * now all followed the same pattern in the last month - early Gws lead gets completely reversed.

Their game is surgical and requires a bit of time and space. Deny them that, and they suddenly look fairly ordinary.

Wait, what? One camera angle shows the ball didn’t cross the back of the goal line (and Liam Jones saved a goal) and the other camera angle showed the ball was clearly over the goal line.

“Insufficient evidence” was the decision and a behind given. Why go with the first camera angle and not the second camera angle?

Quite strange as there appeared to be clear evidence the ball was over the goal line. No point in having the technology if you dont use it.

Trick of geometry with the second goalpost shot.

You are comparing something that is a few centimetres away with something that is a few metres away.

It can 'appear' like the ball is behind the line and it is not

Essendon in 2024 is the St Kilda of 2020. They have topped significantly so will have a spike in the ladder position just like when Ratten brought in all those players ahead of 2020, but come next year Essendon will be back in no man's land.
