I see it that we need to win a minimum of 2 of our next 3 games to finish in the top 4 and get a double chance. You would think that Lions would be a gimme (I know we lost to Saints), so that means we have to topple Hawks and or Port at home. Obviously if Port keep losing that helps us out! If Port were to lose to Suns this week (unlikely) we could even afford to lose to them by a small margin assuming we defeat Hawks or Lions. The big Test is this weekend, against a Hawks team who always find a way to win against the odds. Obviously if Roughy and Gunston both missed this would be a massive advantage to us (Is Hodge in doubt?). I can seek Geelong losing to Hawks and even Blues if they play poorly. Get out your crystal balls, How does everyone see the rest of the home and away season panning out?

North are a possibility to win their remaining games and if we drop the next three they will also jump us

Yeah a win against Port could easily end up a must even if we beat the Hawks on Sunday. If both teams win their next two games then we go into the final round with a lose to us meaning we finish even on points and Port are only 3% behind us at the moment so that could easily drop us down to 5th.

Hard to see any way we can get to top two but regardless we know we can match it with Geelong and to a lesser extent Sydney but a win against Hawthorn would be such a boost to points and confidence.

It would of course be better to finish in the four and get a home prelim or semi. But if we finished fifth, we'd smash West Coast and it would be awesome.

Let's beat the hawks first.. If we have any ammunition to beat hawks its now. That showing early in the season against them as well as the heartbreak from last night. Hope Hill, Fyfe and McPharlin are good. Need a full four quarter effort like no other.

Put it this way... we beat the Hawks and I'd say we're top 4 certainties. That last quarter we played against Geebung was the best I've seen us play this year. They need to win all of their remaining 3 games, and then hope that Adelaide, Essendon, Collingwood and Gold Coast do no better than 2 out of 3. Plus Richmond not to win 3 out of 3 and edge ahead of them on percentage.

That does seem the most likely at this stage. Hard to see the Swans losing top spot, and hard to see us moving from 4th. Not necessarily the worst result, especially if it's at ANZ. We'd get the Friday night game.
