Atley has the attributes of an elite runner/carrier, but Conca seems like he has the attributes of a real on-field general.

Atley might be rated higher by the footballing public, because his play may end up being more spectacular, but I think Conca will end up being the more valuable player.

conca seems like a reliable hbf but he isn't going to influence the game that much.

atley is a line breaking mid that has very good pace and endurance and evades tackles as good as anyone. he will influence games much more than conca thus i'd take atley over conca every day of the week

i've seen him more in defence than in the middle this season whereas atley is a pure midfielder.

loved conca's work in the red vest today....

Both going to be good players. Haven't seen much of Atley but I'm liking how Conca has fitted into the Tiger's team.

Conca's played a good role in defence, and lately into the midfield in an outside role and done well.


Atley's played an inside role for much of the season, and even included in the North centre square set up, his last few weeks have been particularly good.


Conca's year probably just shades Atley's, even though Atley has been in the harder role.


Long term? I'd take Atley, linebreaking contested ball winners are as rare hens teeth.

Conca's classier, Atley's more what we need. Think I'd still go with Conca.
I think Conca's far smarter & more versatile. Atley I think is gunna be one where what he does will either come off to spectacular effect or he ends up being caught or blazing away.
Be interesting to see where they fit in 2-3 more years.
