That's one of the points that I'm trying to make, that people are jsut following the heard and slagging on stanton instead of actually having their own people. It seems people find their own status amonst an anomynous community more important then freedom of speech and a chance to have a say.

And on Stanton, yes, he can be unaccountable, my main beef with the slagging that it's over the top and there's a difference between, constructive critiscm and critiscm that does absolutely nothing but look at problems negatively. for example.

Stanton is prone to sometimes not chasing as hard as he possibly could, maybe over the pre-season they will put a bit of extra tackling work in Stanton's schedule.

That is an example of positive feedback

Stanton can't tackle for shit, he is ****ing hack, **** him right off from essendon, He wears the number 5 he should be our best player. ****ing useless.

You've got to face facts Guts. There is always going to be players that Essendon fans loath and there's always going to be some they adore.

I think he had a good season. A vast improvment on last year.

When an opposition coach looks at our match-ups leading into a game, you can bet he spends a lot of time thinking about who he's going to put on Stanton.

He wouldn't spend any time thinking about our No2....he's the real problem.


Stanton form has improved. More tackles and more overhead marks will complete him. It's as good as we are gunna get.

To me it just looked like he was condemning those who don't share his views.

SirJim05! I'm not sure if you are aiming your post at me to whom Slattery20 appeared to be quoting or the OP but if you were aiming it at me I can assure you that I have been very critical of Stanton at times I recall being very vocal after that round three incident.

I don't expect anyone to agree with my viiews infact I think Bigfooty would be boring if everyone agreed with what I write, the disagreeing is part of the enjoyment of Bigfooty.
