It's because there are some nuffies who hear it and might be attracted to it. I grapple with this a bit, sometimes I think it's good to hear from these clowns just so everyone can hear, and also support laws like banning Nazi salutes and swastikas in public.

I've watched an interview with Sewell before just to see what the hell he says, is there anything moderate about their views? There isn't, yeah I hope no one I care about gets caught up in that shit and clearly hope it stays fringe.

Newman may genuinely think he “pushed back” but just by platforming these N*zis and letting them rant he did them a service.

If Trump has taught us anything, it’s that it doesn’t matter how many times you say “that’s not true”, or “where’s your evidence”, they will just keep saying it, and enough people will believe it to make it a problem.

All that giving them a public platform does is bring an ideology that was forced to hide in the darkest corners of the internet more and more in to the mainstream.

Reading through the timeline it looks quite a few of the rest of them who were arrested in Adelaide have all been banned as well.

I actually said we see it on the nightly news, not that we see it on the news nightly.

They’re recruiting, openly, all over the place, complacency like yours (eh it’s fine) leads to it not getting checked and beaten down.

Literally all I’ve said is it’s in the rise and we should remain vigilant and diligent against it. Nothing even worth responding to there.

Personally I think all the organisations doing it should be classified as terrorist organisations and prosecuted as extensively as possible, free speech can **** off when it impinges on human rights and equality too.
