There is no way Schmieds is holding serve here at 6-5*. She had 2BP last game yet failed to convert. 4/15 BP for the match Schmieds. She didn't throw in the towel at least.

So many good aspects to her game, yet 2 huge glaring weaknesses.

Bencic wins 6-3, 7-5. Slowest speed I saw for the serve was 102KM by Schmieds. She followed that up with an ace, her only one in the match. Schmieds showed some good play at least.

Fewer courts available this year due to the redevelopment works, so I'd guess AO could have had more in previous years. Not sure about the others, but I'm guessing English weather would have forced Wimbledon to have pushed a few through on occasion.
