and his legs; some sort of half-arsed attempt at depicting movement I suppose. It's in character though; until we have a thorough clean out from top to bottom we will remain a half-arsed simulacrum of a real football club.

I wouldn't do it at all. The fact that we are even discussing it here meant it didn't really work.

Further, based on the footy and I believe remembering he wore sleeves against Freo in Indigenous round, this a guernsey swap too. Just seems odd they went to the extent of changing his guernsey and not using another image (unless he has only played that game this year I'm not overly sure).

Maybe I’m just an old man yelling at clouds but for some reason this one really pissed me off. It makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

The teams are broken up into their divisions, which is fine. But the teams aren’t in alphabetical order. They’re not in the order of last years standings. They’re not in order of who’s won the most to least divisions. They’re not in order of who’s won the division most recently. Unless I’m mistaken it’s completely random and I hate it.

As much as it pains me, the NZ fern in the background is literally rough around the edges. You can tell they've just gotten the logo off of Wikipedia, magic eraser'd it in Photoshop and not attempted to fix the edges.

I'm not sure the Nix have hired in the past seasons, but definitely has been amateur hour for a little while.

Seen plenty of local clubs using the old ChatGPT poster designer but I'm not sure I've seen any actually go as far as using it for a club logo just yet.

Buckets to North Geelong. And just months after celebrating a premiership too. Pay a designer!

They would probably have someone at the club who has the required skills to do something they'd be proud of and would do it for a free season of rego fees and a shoutout at the presentation night, or less.

Local clubs in general are so, so bad at this stuff. Committees just don't value what good design can bring. AI logos are so obvious and soulless.
