Yep it's a big loss, flaz should have a few contacts he's played vfl, WAFL, gv and at South.
It puts flat in a bad position, they haven't being a force in the league really since dekka, Ned Landry, fox Lancaster, ash Wilson were there, that's 2001. They had a couple of ok years with Wilson.
They need to start from scratch with the core of their thirds flag, new coach and 4 recruits and go hard at the local league's.
Grenfell should be high on their list to recruit, maybe they have a crack at getting Haberman from square

They’ve had 43 scoring shots so can’t have played to badly other than accuracy there are some massive games over the next few weeks all set up for a ripping finish to the season

Far from ideal conditions at Kyneton, the clash v Eaglehawk in 2 weeks will be huge, winner plays final and loser doesn't, % won't be a factor as South is much lower if they end up on equal points.

Eaglehawk, Kyneton & Sandhurst all on 120% so winning margins for these teams is going to be critical. Sandhurst have to beat Eaglehawk next week to stay in the race. If the Dragons lose they are gone and the winner of Kyneton v Eaglehawk the following week will be within inches of the final five finishing post.

It’s been a long time since we had 4 weeks left of the season and so much intrigue in who is going to make the top 5.
You would think if Eaglehawk can overcome Sandhurst this week, the game in a fortnight’s time between Kyneton and Eaglehawk at the Showgrounds could be as big as you will see at the Showgrounds in a long time!
What’s everyone prediction from here who takes 5th spot.
