Don't know him, but feel I get a bit of perspective on him by following his brother's blog on the show, and reading comments from teammates and the like on Twitter. I just haven't seen anyone have a bad thing to say about him, and the housemates are only nitpicking on things to criticise him for. You would go insane if all of your mates were like Tim.personally not me, find him to be boring along with most of the guys in the house.
baccs, do you personally know ed? not having a go but your posts re ed seem from personal knowledge.
I just think because he's such a nice guy, when he does voice an opinion people will hound him over it because they aren't expecting it. I hardly think that situation you describe above is bullying behaviour, but fair enough on your behalf too.He said last week "the way you deal with a bully is to get everyone to surround them and tell them all the things you dont like about them" when saying that he thought Tim was a bully (how ironic) That is bully behaviour and made him sound like a dickhead, stereotypical jock. I think he is a typical footy player and thinks he is better than everyone else.
Beyond how tonight made him look to the outside it was also a moment where a "good" person would think of the persons feelings. Tim had genuine compassion when Ben was upset over Heidis comments tonight, Ed had none for Jade, she was shaking over it FFS. It's a personal opinion, you and Fresh Banana like him and thats fair enough too.
FWIW i agree with you on Matt.
It really seems like they don't, from hearing what they have had to say on them.Do the housemates not know drew and Tully are hookkng up or something?

You aren't the only one! I don't think she's a bad person either, as her friend (and even her ex gf) have tried to reiterate many times. All of the evicted housemates seem to hate her in there (from what we see of the highlights), but then go on about how she's a fun person and easy to chat to. I reckon she's fine for 95% of the time in there, but batshit crazy for the 30-40min we get to see on weekdays.
I actually don't mind her as she reminds me of my sister 99% of the time, and like Tully she is emotional all the time. I actually like Tully opening up more.
Surely Tully would got to have realised that her girlfriend would be seeing what she's doing and wouldn't expect her to be ok with her. I reckon that when she leaves, she won't be all that shocked to find out that she's broken up with her. Think she's totally fallen for Drew and that even if her girlfriend (or ex now I guess) was still willing to be with her, she'd break up with her once she got out anyway.
My heart goes out to you.....
And you are clearly cynical and old. I know plenty of the guy you are describing from my school days, as I was bullied plenty by that type of guy, but Ed just isn't one of them. Your opinion clearly isn't going to change though...You and Banana must be young.
Ed certainly isn't a nice guy it's just his looks skew his image. His treatment of Jade shows that he is a jerk, as does his ganging up on Tim ploy.
To find out if someone is truly "nice" you have to get into conflict with them that's when true colours come out.
Ed avoids conflict and confrontation, to protect his image.
What did Ed do wrong? I was waiting from something, and nothing happened. Plenty of girls lead guys on for fun, why is it such a bad thing when a guy is doing it, especially in an environment like BB?Dat timing could not have been worse for Ed.
