Kerr will be overtaken by Naitanui. Remember that game we lost to Geelong in 2011, NickNat was awsome.

Thats 1 game out of how many that he should of carved up? He disappoints me.

Definitely not a big game player at the moment, total flack track bully who dominates the shit teams at home.

He was one of our better players in both of our away finals in 2011. And what's this expectation from you that he should carve up? He just finished his 4th year and you expect him to play well every week. He was AA ruck and deserved it, I think you're really underrating some of his games if you truly think he's a total flat track bully who dominates shit teams at home.

Jeeze calm down, sorry i dissed your girlfriend.

I never said he was a crap player or didn't deserve his AA. But personally i think he dominates the shit teams that come over and play at subiaco, and then when we have an important game in Melbourne he will disappear for 3 qtrs. Christ, it's a known fact. I didn't just make it up.

Maybe it just feels worse because any game that he plays bad in, or doesn't play at all, we lose.

Jeez, you're always so defensive when someone offers an opinion that differs from yours. Just stick to what's being discussed and stop with your childish sorry I dissed your girlfriend shit. Someone who only plays well against shit teams at home and does nothing against good teams away deserves AA, ok then if you say so. Based on your logic it's a wonder Drew Petrie wasn't AA this year. Your opinion isn't fact, you may think it is but it's not.

WELL JEEZE. My opinion is fact. Endo story. Don't be jelly. Hows that for childish?

Please quote to me some big games outside of perth that he has played well in recently. Geelong final loss in 11 he was decent. Pies final loss he was decent for a half or so, yep give you that. Tap work against richmond was pretty good. But him flashing in and out of the game does not count as 'standing up and playing well' like kerr does for 4 quarters. Not even close.

But please stop with the AA shit. AA is a load of crap, as most afl fans would agree. The wrong players are picked in all the wrong positions and it's just a load of rubbish. Drew Petrie SHOULD of been AA this year. He is more consistent in his position then Naitanui is.

What position? Playing well against the shit teams? Petrie was very poor against the top 8 sides all year. Beat up on the crabs.

Sounds like someone else i know who made the AA team ;) I'm sure he played better against the lame teams, but i do remember watching him show his class when they needed him. Better then both Riewoldts. Especially with that downy forward line of there's. Lindsey Thomas.... ugh!

Totally disagree. People comparing Kerr to Naitanui look at the stats and see Kerr getting 30 and Naitanui getting 12 posessions, 2 goals BUT 30 ruck hit outs. Those hit outs do not include the taps in play which sets up the likes of Kerr and others. Naitanui's role is to get to the ball first and tap it on to ensure we also get to the ball second for a clean possesion. Obviously you don't rate this aspect of his game which is wrong because thats what Naitanui's role is and he does it very well.

On a couple of occassions he's got to 20 posessions AND had 30 + taps, 4 tackles and a couple of goals. Those games his overall stats stand out better but as long as he's getting 30+ ruck taps plus another 10+ effective taps in play plus 15 posessions that equates to touching the ball 55 times a game. Add on his chasing and tackling, contesting marks up forward and bringing it to the feet of our smalls Naitanui has a much greater impact on the game.

Obviously its Kerr, but, it is interesting that for a long time he used to be the midfielder who was particularly vulnerable to shutdown jobs- one of the most satisfying things about 2012 was see him finally put together a near perfect, tick all the boxes, deliver everything he is capable of delivering season of football- played well all year and showed up in all the crunch games. Also he looks like a particularly nasty mangrove crab when he runs.

Darling has tasty figjam smeared all over him, and is already accumulating the record to go with it- he is just one of those guys who loves to be front and centre when the game is in the balance- destroyed the Roos in the first quarter this year, and iced the final against Carlton last year.
Embley is interesting, because he's occasionally been prone to howlers under pressure (the collingwood one by no means was the first) but he has also played some monster games when it matters. He had some sterling finals campaigns in 05/06, and was huge this year against North.

Also it has been more than half a decade, but you still aren't allowed to have these threads without mentioning Adam "the Hitman" Hunter, the single most stone cold big game killer ever to pull on an eagles guernsey, who had an uncanny ability to always pull out a goal when it mattered. In crunch contests with 10 minutes to play, our game plan used to be-
1.) Get Hunter within 60 metres of goal.
2.) Get ball within general vicinity of Hunter.
3.) ?????
4.) Give celebratory press conference.

Huntaaaaaaaaa!

God i could not believe how much of a stoned out bloke he is though. After watching him all those years fighting with Michael Oloughlin (when he pulled his rats tail) and fighting with everyone else and being a decent stand out player, then listening to him talk about it.... "Oh yeah bro, that was a pretty full on game like... dope yeah ay" :D

What a mad cat

Will never forget the obvious game. Could see he was on early so my money chose him for NS.
Still gobsmacked at the crucifixion he received on here too.
