Whilst I am incredibly excited (and hopeful) about Curtin's potential, an injury to Thilthorpe, Rankine, or Dawson (for example) would be considerably more deflating.

We are perhaps placing a bit too much of our hopes and dreams on Curtin's shoulders (and Draper's to that end).

surely you are getting the real world and big footy mixed up here?

Both the club and people on this forum used Thilthorpe's 2024 injury as an excuse for our performance that year

Interesting I just received a Gold Membership upgrade option by text from the club. Timing is everything

Hmmm... I might hold off on that for now, thanks

Where it really does become a significant problem is when you lose a player that you can't adequately replace. Thilthorpe is one of those. Dawson is another, Rankine is another and I am putting an up and coming monster like Curtin in that bracket too now. We have no natural replacements for any of those players so losing them really hurts.

Yes, and for good reason ....but overlay that at the same time we had Worrell and Murray out as well ....plus Rankine's injury

But of course they were never going to have any effect on performances .....that's always been your position ....apparently you're a next soldier up believer

When you have significant injuries what else does the club do ?
Next man up is logical

Really hope it's not because the turf hasn't been getting maintained like a lot have been reporting..
I think when he’s laying on the ground wrestling the ground probably had little to do with it.

The crows tweeted in error saying he did left/right kneecap but they have gone and deleted it now - assuming they will re upload

What impact is there when your coach goes rogue bonkers?

Yes, but the insinuation is, we don't lose anything with the next man up ......Rankine, Thilthorpe, Murray, and Worrell, are all replaceable .....4 out, 4 in, we don't skip a beat ....is that what you believe ?
