Rubbish. These guys train harder and got longer than any other generation has. They‘d run rings around the old school players.Snowflake generation.

Unrealistic. Average workers aren’t in jobs where they get bashed up throughout the year and their body can only handle if for about 15 years - give or take.
Those kind of injuries happen in all sports to all kinds of people and at all levels. Without any of them being mismanaged. It happens at amateur level, where you are guaranteed they were not over trained/played. When you have +40 blokes playing tough contact sport there will be issues. Overall the Crows record in that regard has been a strength last few years. What? Matt Crouch retired at 29 saying his focus is on being pain free in normal life. He was playing AFL footy, then missed a week to ‘get right’ then played until he couldn’t and was forced to retire. It’s the second time he’s missed a heap of footy groin related, as did his brother. Soligo clearly struggled and after the finals it was reported Dawson had been struggling either way a foot, despite punching out high end TOG. You genuinely miss all this stuff?

I dont think he'd agree with you, but hey you Norwood fan boys think hes God.I think he trained pretty hard and would have coped easily with the rigours of AFL training had he played so its not an argument![]()

I mean how to compare as modern players are full time athletes, and pre-nineties weren’t, but the current generation run harder and longer than anyone before them
So why did you try to start oneThats right. Making any argument invalid.

Would you honestly be more hopeful for 2026 or less critical of the club if our straight sets exit was the same as Brisbane's in 2019. Against GWS they were eliminated in their second final despite winning 3 of the 4 quarters.

Their midfield in 2020? Neale, Lyons, Zorko and a developing McCluggage and Berry.
That 2019/2020 group wasn't much better than our 2025 group.
You have an amazing ability to go buck wild and turn regular media talk into negativity about the club.
Remember when you were convinced Sloane was a club plant and was prepping everyone for Draper not playing round 1.
Or when you were convinced Matty Wright was told to talk up Murphy and talk down Curtain so supporters wouldn't be disappointed when Murphy played and Curtain didnt. Only for Curtain to play and Murphy to stay in the 2's?
Or when you were convinced that it was Murray Davis who dropped Murphy (and he was only allowed to play because he had never seen him play or train and Nicks convinced him).
Mate - If we don't win a final in 2026 - I dont give a shit if we won 3 outta the 4 quarters but still lost. It's an asinine thing to focus on.

I look forward to adding a superstar dual Norm Smith medalist father son to our midfield very soon.Their midfield in 2020? Neale, Lyons, Zorko and a developing McCluggage and Berry.

Did he go to Thailand during the off season.'We've cooked his groins'
How so?
Yes to this. To me he should be a 5th or 6th in line mid if we have all fit and firing and developing (my wish list below)I'd like us to get to the point where Soligo isn't a first string mid.
Trouble is Curtin and Draper are junior players. It'll take 2 or 3 years.Yes to this. To me he should be a 5th or 6th in line mid if we have all fit and firing and developing (my wish list below)
