Wood by a long way...he is alot more versatile than blake...and can do some very useful things around the ground that blake cant...i.e kick a goal, take a contested mark, Kick.

I'm guessing you mean carreer, so I would say Blake. Wood will probably be a better player but Blake could possibly end up with a couple of premierships whereas Wood will languish mid table with the rest of the Pies.

As a Geelong man I would, with complete bias, say Wood by that far it is not even worth further polling.

I'm not here to talk Blake up like he's anywhere near the top 10 ruckman in the comp, but i do think we should take into consideration that Wood has been rucking all year with Collingwoods number one ruckman (Josh Fraser) available and Blake has been doing it without the support of Geelong's number one ruck!

Further to that he has rucked with a player who started the year without a senior game to his record and another who is technically still a rookie!

I realise wood it inexperienced as well, but if we are going to compare them as number 2 ruckmen, which is what they are, i think we should wait til Ottens is playing with Blake and Fraser with Wood!!

Otherwise in my opinion the comparison is fundementally flawed!

Personally i think they'll both be good/handy players!

If you take away the geelong voters it would probably be a lot closer. Blake is a bit of gumby but so are lots of young ruckmen, he will improve and give geelong good service for many years.
