So that one call won Nth the game?. The other 119 minutes were St Kilda could have won the game? Look mate as I have said before umpires make mistakes (the hickey one was there and yes soft as you suggest). I suggest that will not be called a mistake by the umpiring department. St Kilda had a chance to win that a few skill errors and pressure from Nth denied them. Your team is coming along nicely chin upIf he blocked Goldstein out of competing in the ruck then how did Goldstein win the ruck tap? Hickey just stood his ground at the ruck contest, he couldn't jump as he was carrying a leg injury.
Even if you can argue the free kick was technically there it was still a pathetically soft free kick to pay when scores were level in a tight contest, that free kick basically won North the game as Goldstein was able to kick a point.
Not to mention some of the other goals North got from pathetically soft free kicks like Montagna lightly touching Harvey's back with his hand, the sort of thing that happens hundreds of times in a game yet goes unpunished.
Yeah well it's no surprise that the supporters of teams that get shafted by the umpires are the ones doing most of the whining and complaining, you aren't going to get many Western Bulldogs or Hawthorn supporters complaining when they are the ones that regularly benefit from the shit umpiring.
