People clucking about St Kilda's move to Puma.

Would like it but will wait to see if it's legit. All i know is white collar and cuffs or nothing
I can't imagine they'd get rid of white collar and cuffs now no matter who the manufacturer is, it'd be a club decision to have them, and surely that would stand no matter who they move on to.

Is it a club decision?
Major design elements sure, but the cuffs and that wouldn't that be up to the manufacturemanufacturer

Everything design-wise would have to be ticked-off by or specifically requested by the club. If the club hadn't specifically asked for white cuffs, BLK would have just given them black cuffs as they had with ISC.

The home and clash designs from BLK will remain, just adapted onto a new template (no toilet seat collar yay!).
Seems odd, wouldn't BLK own the clash design?

Clash designs are owned by clubs in general from what I know? Especially if we already had one designed I can't see us moving away from it.
the white cuffs collar Home will look awesome with puma

We should because it is ******* hopeless and not at all what the fans were calling for.
Let's be honest is isn't that horrendous. It's certainly not a power ranger like effort. I want to see it in the flesh before I make too many judgements.

I know we had a near perfect clash jumper but the club is seeming to operate on a 2 year rotation policy. For a club like ours who needs the money I have no problem with it.

The new clash will look great with a decent collar. All we've seen is a weirdly proportioned mockup, you can hardly judge the finished product on that.

Plus 'the fans' were calling for a crusader style jumper if we were going to change. That's what we got.

The new clash will look shit because it's a shit bastardisation of a good design and is worse than what it is replacing.

Black Tri-Colour, White Candy-Stripe, Red Crusader how ****ing hard is it not to **** up!

EFA ;)

But for the most part i agree. 2005 style candystripes for a clash and if we really need a crusader do it like the Bulldogs did with their red as a 3rd kit/pre season

It was mentioned at the rfc agm that we are taking a $30k hit next year on blk going under, but we were lucky to minimize it because we were able to act so fast with puma.

Without knowing the full details, I think that may be an ominous sign for blk being able to trade on in 2017 without a new owner. If we are already writing off blk monies owed, I don't think we will be the only one

That 30k is probably the expected revenue from apparel sales that would have happened around Christmas and now won't.

No Puma Christmas gifts this year, and Richmond have lost October to February selling 2017 gear, reality is supporters on the border line of whether to update their gear or not based on cost will be happy to wait from only February to September/October and pay $30 for a $80 polo shirt instead of 10 to 12 months when they usually buy it in October.

I'd expect a big boom for Richmond when the Puma stuff comes out. Not only is it a better product, but a far more popular and high quality brand.

If Richmond are smart, they'll push Puma branded Tigerstore gift cards down everyone's throat for Christmas.

AFL section now completely removed from BLK website
