He's not lazy, not by any means. But he's 'good' not 'great' and thus not worth the big dollars for. Rather draft and develop a top draft pick over time than seek a quick fix from Mitchell.
I don't understand how you could make that call unless you know what picks we will have and who will be available at those picks. Pick 5 is overs for Mitchell and we wouldn't be stupid enough to trade it to Sydney, but if SOS determines Mitchell is a better player than whoever might be available for our 2nd rounder or whatever we get for Tuohy, then it's a no brainer.

Straight swap for Tuohy would be fair. Tuohy would dominate at the SCG. Both clubs address a need (Mills goes to the midfield). I don't want Tuohy to be kicked out though. Only if he wants to leave.

I worry about Mitchell's price which will be astronomical and attitude. He is a GOOD midfielder but he's a distant fifth to Parker, Hanneberry, Jack and Kennedy. You wouldn't break the back for him.
Straight swap for Zac.... Cmon

Makes sense. Always thought Hawthorn would struggle to get both him and JOM.
Yep, I doubt they have the pick the Swans want. JOM will cost a future first and a player. Swans will want at least a mid first for Mitchell and given that Hawks pick is 15 and the earliest they have had in years, not only is it less than what the Swans want, the Hawks would want to keep it.

Also doubt we would give up anything more than a late first for him.

If we could do a swap for Tuohy and our 3rd , that's a win , we need at least half a dozen mids
This is about right I reckon. He would also have to adjust his contract price significantly.

Richmond no show with Prestia already taking their first and Saints after Steele..maybe this may change though and Steele could become a possibility for us.

68% disposal efficiency.
We have plenty of them. He'll Sam Kerridge goes at 73%, Simon White 78% and Sam Rowe 82%
Haven't looked it up myself, but if that's his DE then that's enough for me to say no. You can probably get away with that in a team as strong as Sydney's, but you'd be exposed 5 minutes into the 1st quarter in our side.
